What Women Over 200 Lbs Shouldn’t Wear In Public? This Girl Has The Perfect Answer
1.4Mviews
When it comes to body shaming plus-sized people, we should all take an example from Sara Petty - the girl who doesn't care what mean people say about her body image.
After noticing lots of tweets (not to her directly) saying that the beauty standards do not allow women over 200 pounds or those with curvy bodies to wear some clothes, Petty decided to make a statement and do the exact opposite. Even though body-shamers said women over 200 pounds shouldn't wear any revealing clothes, including leggings, crop tops, bikinis, and booty shorts, Petty wore is all and tweeted pics with the caption: "Girls: Wear whatever the hell you want." And you know what? She looked freakin' beautiful in every single outfit! Petty's tweet has gone viral since with over 119k likes, 103k retweets, and tons of people sending messages of support, and thanks for sharing some body positivity.

What's wrong with people? She looks beautiful in every outfit. It's not a matter of size, I weight 140 pounds and look awful in leggins. Every person has a different body shape, and we're all beautiful.
To Luis, I don't know how you look like, but I feel pity for someone who has to put other people's photo as profile pic and goes around telling others they're ugly. She is pretty, her body sure not like skinny models on TV but fucking hell she is beautiful in her own way. Do us a favor and shut the fuck up, dumbass.
Not your type, pal. That doesn't make her a bit ugly. Ugly is the person that can't stop seeing flaws on everyone else.
To Luis, umm... No, don't do that ever again, please. You shouldn't take one's esteem to make as a social test. It will hurt them. Once the feeling like this set in, it's really not easy to let go of this idea in their mind even after they know that you didn't mean that at all, especially a girl! So no, please don't just comment like this about someone and then cover up by saying you were just seeing how people's response for it. It's not cool.
To Luis: Excuse me? First of all, I agree with all the comments against you. Second, I believe an "ugly" type doesn't exist. Not everybody would agree on the same beauty canons, even if society tells us how a "perfect" woman should look through magazine covers. Women worldwide (and men, of course) are fighting every day against that. Also, sometimes I have the feeling people only say that kind of ugly stuff because they are ashamed to recognize that they like somebody that somehow is not accepted. PS: Sorry for my grammar, I think I made my point clear.
I know very "light" people that don't look good in any of these things.
To Farnaz, yeah I also know one... It's me. *roll into a corner and cry*

I am piecing together a boredpanda post about how people respond to this critique in a positive and negative mindset I would like
Only a self centered bastard would make a comment like that.
I weigh 150................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................I'm 12 tho
Numbers don't mean a thing! I always tried to starve myself when I was young because I heard that a certain number was ideal for my height. It was not attainable for me because of my bone structure & muscle mass. I didn't know it then, but at what I thought was really heavy I was actually very underweight. Weight never takes into account body composition. I honestly didn't look good at the lower weight I starved myself to but I still wanted to go lower because of the twisted mindset I had. Our bodies change so much even in to young adulthood though that we need to worry more about nurturing them & building muscle so that they can grow, rather than about an arbitrary number on a scale. I suffered nutritional defficiencies back then that affect me to this day & I also suffered from a lot of bone weakness & stunted growth. I could be taller & stronger today if I took better care of my self when I was young.
Well said!

The thing is that we shouldnt care about the body wieght but we have to relaize that she is a very ugly person we should stop being hypocrytes she is an ugly person but i commend her not caring about her ugly self
And your ugly inside .... but you can change by being less judgemental... a lot less. We are all different and all beautiful
Says the one who is hiding behind a picture of a celebrity. Also, you really ought to learn how to spell. You butchered so many words!
@Luis you are just like one of those twitter girls body shaming Sara. You literally called her ugly. We are hypocrites? What about you?
Sorry didn't finish word limit. Continuing, like he other comments, you are hiding behind another persons pic.
the sad part is that all those twitter posters are girls. sad dumb children who think someones value is higher or lower based on the body they have because thats how they are being brought up.
what i thought too. Shameful it is how those girls think.
Those "comments" find an excuse to make themselves feel better. Think about it. If you don't care, you won't say anything about it. It's just bully. These girls don't have confident at all =/
C'mon tell me the story about internal spiritual values........For womans, beauty of body, it is first question, whole their life build on that....... If you don't consider, that bodybeauty is important side of life, i must think that you are just haven't this device......?
That battery level though. Girl likes to live on the edge.
This is actually a hidden commercial for battery packs!
Well it's a bad commercial then because I didn't notice until it was pointed out in the comments.
I'm not sure of the battery commercial comment is a joke or not, but it is funny and definitely a viable theory, considering how many overt adds are on the page and that like all the posters battery levels are low... or at least more than a one... I didn't really pay that much attention on the comments, I was very distracted by Sara's photos. Also, I would like the record to show "I'd hit that", I rest my case.
