Fashion and the Internet have collided spectacularly in this series of awesome embroidered cat shirts by Japanese embroidery artist Hiroko Kubota. The cute kitties, embroidered with great skill and detail, are an unexpected and interesting manifestation of the Internet’s obsession with cats. After posting pictures of the shirts online, they went viral The majority of her shirts have already sold out, $250-300 price tag notwithstanding. As an excellent embroiderer, she has a ton of other great non-cat-related works as well, all of which can be found on her Etsy store.

Damien Greenhalgh, Labour County Councillor for Glossop and Charlesworth, became a Twitter legend after he posted a picture showing “How to look like Batman, using your cat.” The hilarious photo has already received more than 19K retweets, and the guy was named “CATMAN”. It’s not clear whether it was inspired by the popular cat-bearding trend, but it will definitely inspire a new trend!

The creation makes sure that the cat can get some fresh air, but stay where you could always find it. Gotta admit, in a country with a shortage of space for people and pets alike, this structure is a really great idea!

Architecture firm Because We Can, led by interior designer Jillian Northrup and her husband architect Jeffrey McGrew, had to turn an under utilized room in a private residence into a highly functional and inspirational place to work from home. Besides turning the room into a splendid mad science lair, they also made what Northrup calls “the fist step to greater cat mobility throughout the room”. The Cat Tube stretches around the room and gives the cat access to the top of the armoire. There’s even a couple of small windows that let you see where your cat is going. Just take my money already!

No, it’s not photoshopped! This adorable “two-faced” kitten posted to reddit as “the coolest cat ever” is real and even has a facebook page. It was actually found on a dairy farm in North Carolina and adopted almost 3 years ago in September 2009. “She’s as sweet as can be….gentle, loving, and has this little tiny kitten like “meow” even though she is 3 now. She acts like a big baby in the way that she loves to be babied. She doesn’t bother any furniture with her claws and uses a scratching post. She does not have one single bad habits……she’s perfect!” says the owner of the coolest cat ever.
