Ever seen a perfectly peeled coconut? Probably not, because it is, after all, damned hard to peel a coconut. But as you can see from this mildly freaky list compiled by Bored Panda, some people have gone to the effort of peeling all sorts of fruits in order to see what they look like naked. From lychees, longans and lemons, to peaches, pears, and pomegranates, the peeled produce below will either make you hungry or ruin your appetite. Don't forget to vote for your favorite!

Watermelon Flesh. Also Oddly Unsettling
So smooth it makes me want to touch it and roll it around in my hands.

A Peeled Coconut
Some people have a lot of time on their hands. They don't want the brown on it. There are a number of layers to the lowly coconut that those of us who prepare food keep secret from those who eat.
I Peeled The Skin Off A Blueberry
well, actually that isn't a real blueberry. A real blueberry is blue/purple inside and out. These berries are called whortleberries (or some call them Amaerican blueberries).
My Wife Perfectly Peeled This Avocado
Of course it is perfectly peeled - when you slit it in half first. See cut line on left side of avo.

Peeled Tomatoes
Again, we feel them, stew them, and use them in recipes. So much better than canned!

My Grandmother's bathroom wallpaper ... seriously! From 65 years ago ... I would go in there to get away from the smell of her cooking Brussels sprouts and count the bright yellow, peeled pineapple that sat on a cutting board in near a bowl of oranges! It repeated over Amanda over in their bathroom. I could never understand why a kitchen "picture" was in a bathroom!!
Why do you find this unusual? Do you eat pineapples without peeling them? LOL
I Peeled A Cherry And It Blew My Mind
It looks like a combination of those pods they used in the Matrix to grow people and a stem cell heart. Cool and disturbing at the same time. Someone should make a gif of it pulsating.
what the f**k... is going through your f*****g head you ape. Don't speak of anything like that ever again you toe.

Some people's minds are easily blown. Explains a lot about media power
I Peeled My Grape
Years ago, when we had a Halloween party, we did a "haunted house" where people were led through in the dark and made to handle things, being told they were something gross. Pumpkin innards were "human intestines", peeled grapes in a bowl were "witches' eyes", etc.
As a kid once I peeled lots of grapes, cut them in half, took all the seeds out and stuffed those holes with nutella. One of my greatest cooking achievements in life.
Have You Ever Peeled A Strawberry?
This was peeled in Hell, where all the kitchens are covered in a pulsating s**t-membrane.
Ever Seen A Peeled Tomato? Pull The Insides Out When You Cut It And They Begin To Look Like Ears
When I tried to make my own tomato sauce for pasta, I peeled the tomatoes as instructed by the recepe.
I'm glad you could follow the recepe. Was it nice?
Load More Replies...There's nothing weird in peeling tomatoes. I do it all the time for salads, casseroles or gazpacho. It's very esy, just poure some boiling water on tomatoes and in 10 seconds it just comes off in one move. Tomato skin is not very healthy to eat, people with some medical conditions are told to remove it, my uncle was told so after a surgery and I now that people with liver problems must peel it.
oops, sorry for the mistakes. Pour without 'e' and missed a 'k' in I know)))
Load More Replies...I'ts nothing strange. Use a hot water for some minutes on tomatos. After that youse cold water and you can peel tomato with your hands. No tools needed. It's complately normal thing when you are making ypur own tomato sauce. Even my grandma use this method. No rockets science here...
if you blanche a tomato first by dropping it into boiling water for a few seconds, the skin slides right off. Same for your hand if you slip.
In europe, especially in spain and italy, it is a very very common thing to do when cooking with tomatoes. really don't see the need to fuss here...
Yep this is something anyone who cans tomatoes sees on the regular. ;)
Peeled Plum
I see that this is the plum that Little Jack Horner stuck his thumb into...
While these all look interesting and I praise your curiosity, let's remind ourselves that usually fruit is healthier when not peeled. (Speaking in general, of course. Also, make sure to wash it well)
So are Diply, Clickhole, Bored Panda, Buzzfeed and HuffPo just share content?
This is the kind of stuff that happens when one does not have enough to think about. I remember seeing two bored housewives on TV who knit little sweaters out of their dogs' shed fur. I am still psychologically traumatized..........
