My cousin is a proud owner of serveral rabbits. One of them is special though. He is fluffy, cute and all white with little red eyes.
I named the albino Jefferson and made him my photo model for a series I shot in October 2014 – letting him roam around in my oncles market garden. It was his first time out of the little box where he lived in. Being confronted with the outside world, it was all new, adventurous and most likely a little bit scary to him. And he gave me some funny looks for putting him through that.

However, Jefferson has done a great job and as a reward he was fed kinglike and one of his pictures found a place of honor on his owners beside cabinet. Also, unlike all his rabbit friends, he won’t be eaten in the end.
