A series of “disabled” mannequins created by Pro Infirmis, a Swiss organization for people with disabilities, really brings the cliched saying “no one’s perfect” to life – they were created to remind us that human bodies can be very diverse and that beauty lies within each of them.

The campaign, named “Because who is perfect? Get closer,” was designed to celebrate the International Day of People with Disabilities on December 3rd. Five plastic mannequins embody different disabilities including scoliosis (a curved spine) and shortened limbs.

The atypical and nicely dressed mannequins are displayed in the windows of a fashion store located on Zurich’s main shopping street. Both passers-by and the disabled people who posed for shaping the mannequins agreed that the initiative is unique and inspiring.
