To be honest with you I feel a little uncomfortable answering that question- not because it isn't a good, thought-provoking question, but because my answer would be mostly speculation. That being said, I imagine it would be a lot of trade-offs. As a man, I feel largely confined to interacting with other men in Southeastern Turkey and this limits my work- if I had been a woman I imagine I would be confined to interacting mostly with other women. I uploaded a few photos from Saudi Arabia to another BoredPanda article where I had had similar issues with not being able to find a culturally appropriate way to talk to most of the women there- and they're half the story wherever you go!

i disagree, i think this whole thing jimmy started is horrible. all it is doing is teaching kids its ok to lie to people close to you, steal from them, cause them suffering for a laugh. i mean how much distrust has been brought since this whole thing has started? yeah its all "light hearted" and no one was really hurt. But emotions of a child are extremely important in development. people just don't seem to get it that these kinds of things if done to a maladjusted child the end results could be devastating to their development as a human being. Every action has an effect. We should be choosing our actions better, not causing suffering for a laugh. that is my problem with this dumb fad.

Ummm, no, there's a difference if she had cancer and shaved her head. I expect my husband would have the same reaction if I just decided to shave my hair off. Some of these older cultures have survived for thousands of years , &, therefore , I hope the USA can right itself in a commendable way , to do the same.

North Korea is actually a very safe place to travel, provided you obey the law- people who get in trouble there almost always bring it upon themselves, and the infrastructure is in much better shape than CNN would have you believe.
