Cute. But is anyone else weirded out a little that a 7 yr old has access to your meds?
I have to take multiple prescription meds. My niece and nephews have all known from a very young age that I take these medications and they have all had it drilled into them very many times by their parents and by me that they should never take anyone else’s medication and that they should never take medicine unless their parents/grandparents/I give it to them. At 7 they all understood this and also understood that auntie needed to take medication to be healthy and that that is okay. Still, I always kept everything in the childproof bottles just in case. But I hope and believe it is likely that this parent has talked to their child about medication safety. And I think it is ultimately good that the child understands what they are for. Children are curious and my niece and nephews all asked me independently why I was taking so much medicine. It was a good conversation opener into all the different ways we can take care of our bodies and our minds and that it’s okay to ask for help
