so basically, my cat HATES water, but also loves playing it with my dog, strangely. everyday, they always rush around, barking and hissing at each other. one day, i was running a bath cause i felt i needed it, and my pets (bart and millie) started running, like normal. things got really cute, and my dog ran into the bathroom and jumped onto the other side of the bath. my cat tried, but he fell into the bath. he hasn't forgiven me since. 🥲
She did this more when she was a kitten, but whenever we go to the vet, she will run to the other side of the room, jump up as high as she can, and claw the door frame. We hear her claws scratch as she falls down. Another failed attempt.
I had a blind cat named Misty that I rescued. The funniest thing was she used to hide in the kitchen and wait for Dad to come downstairs in the morning. He always wore shorts and she would jump out and grab his ankles.
She knew who it was from his footsteps.
It brought them both so much joy. She didn't always pick the best hiding spots (she would think she was hidden) so he knew it was coming, but he would give the same surprised-shout reaction anyway.
She would always make a funny "brrriiinngg" noise afterward and run away all proud of herself.
Of course, it was the cat he told me we couldn't keep, but then fell in love with.😂
