If your grandma is/was anything like mine, she goes straight to the point without even hesitating. No matter how harsh what she has to say is.
Don't know what I'm talking about? Check out this list below of the most savage things grandmas have ever said. From “I knew girls weren’t going to like you from the beginning” to “maybe next year you’ll make us proud” - grandmas have said it all and more! Take a look below and vote for your favorites.

Why would you be annoyed at friends getting married? Unless you're pissed off at having to go to a bunch of parties, potentially spending a lot of money.
It can be difficult if all your friends go to life transitions like this. The change in lifestyle can make maintaining the same amount of contact difficult. Also a psychological distance can arise…the experiences you have will be very different…people will have kids and stop wanting to go out to bars with you etc. And maybe she is a little jealous, because she would like to get married too.
Load More Replies...Good point. That what I usually assume. He hasn't found the right girl. Hopefully he's happier now.
Load More Replies...People who leave one word comments that don't explain what they are even talking about don't deserve a response. If shes to lazy to type out a freaking sentence that makes sense she needs to be ignored.
He's just coming out and maybe she knew it from the start? For those commenting this is overly-opinionated, devil's advocate here - maybe she hit it right on the nail? The truth can be hurtful at times...plus.....he doesn't like girls so.....
Just coming out? That's a big deal! And she chooses to p**s on that plus insult him.
Load More Replies...I thought she was gonna say "You better start going to church because it's really cold in there."
Motivational, if said to the right person, a "weak" kid wouldn't make it!
My grandmothers was awesone, loving witty she was straight forward but not nasty or rude. I am blessed to have had them in my life. Just because you are old doesn't give you the right to be mean.
For those of us that suffered the brutality of a Jewish grandmother this sounds spot on. FYI, I loved my g-ma “Sadie,” but she scared the hell out of me!
Lol is betty white your grandma? I could see her saying that. I adore betty white.
That's apparently what happens when you get older, you don't give a s**t anymore.
If it was a septum piercing, I agree. Why do you do that, people? It makes me want to tie a string to it and lead you around like a cow!
Thank you, I've often thought bull ring. Which is meant to incapacitate the animal in severe pain when pulled. How is that sexy?
Load More Replies...This is something my grandma (moms side) would say. She's severely against piercings and tattoos.
when i got chest tattoo, my grandma told me not to go on the balcony because she dont want her neigbours to see me, lol
My nan sends cards with nothing written inside... Lol not even signed...
My grandmother (my fathers mother), she used to tell me "eat!" Then when I did get something to eat, she'd say "but don't eat too much because you'll get fat". As much as it hurt, I still loved her.
Load More Replies...Eat yes that's what her hands are busy doing in college... poor grandma is naive.
how evil! The grandma will force feed him/her and s/he won't be able to do anything against it, because of kniting
These are so sad, to have a Grandma who actually say these thing to a Grandchild let alone believe what they say. All Grandmothers should be good to Grandchildren, they are a blessing. My Grandmother met my fella when she was so sick in bed and she said "marry him & settle down"...we will be married 30 years this year, boy was she right!
"Blessing" is an odd word for such a common occurrence, but I think grandparents should be as respectful of the kids as the kids deserve. Y'know, don't dish out harsh comments if they're too young or very sweet to you.
Load More Replies...My grandmother would sound so excited that I phoned. Ask if it was my sister and when she found out it was me, all excitement drops from her voice and asks why I phoned.
We have the same voice on the phone according to everyone.
Load More Replies...Sounds familiar. My grandma starred at me super hard and told me "you really look just like your mother; but your sister is prettier" Double Hit!
"Jokes on you grandma, you weren't going to be invited in the first place!"
My nan just says not to invite her to my wedding cause she won't leave the dog....
That religion can have such a great influence on your life keeps surprising me.
You should visit the Bible Belt...the amount of stupidity here is staggering.
Load More Replies...How very Christian of you Granny.... when did you plan your euthanasia again ?
Clearly, grandma hasn't been around enough trailer parks. Those "motivational / religious" names like "Faith" and "Hope" are white trash names. "Candy" too, maybe... Basically, positive adjectives and stripper stage names are "white-trash" names.
This one's not bad in my opinion. My mom uses the Christmas cards people send her for all of my presents since I'm a December baby. Seems like good sense to me. She's even sent me cards that I've given her though and that's a little tacky, lol but still fine by me.
That's a woman who sounds like she shouldn't have had kids not alone grandkids
I agree - I understand some might be teasing, but daaaamn - that's still some pretty toxic teasing!

Amen sister suzanne That's coming from a 12 year old
Load More Replies...These grandmas are awful... kinda makes me glad I don't have any!
There's a difference between honesty and being mean. However, I can understand that some were just meant as joke to their grandchild. But some of them were just beyond mean.
when was younger around 6 or 7 my grandma said: Wish i was never born so my mother could marry someone and i was blocking her happiness! this was only nasty thing she ever said to me in her life, after tht she was soo good to me until her death. it was hurtful, but i loved her and adored her regardless!
