Share on FacebookI already knew this was going to have a sad ending in the beginning when I noticed everything was written in past tense. I had a 5 year long, long distance relationship. It also didn't work out. It takes two of the same type of people to really work hard on making it last. If you are in a long distance relationship, and you are reading this, I really hope from the bottom of my heart, you succeed, where others have failed, in making it work. :)
After a summer romance, I long distance dated my boyfriend for 1.5 years before being in the same city again. It was a rough-go for sure, and we continually create hope by setting the next meet-up and set end-dates of being apart. Luckily, we managed to hang on especially since we knew little of each other to begin with. Plenty of ups and downs for sure. When we were finally in the same city, it was all rainbow and sunshine at the beginning. Then it took time to learn our rhythm. We've been together for 28 years now.
Load More Replies...I was for ten years in s long distance relationship.... not easy, not easy all the time... but next week, we will have the 20. anniversary of our wedding. Sometimes ther is a happy end

Good luck Pedro :) Leave her little love notes in the most unexpected places, it will bring her joy every time she finds one
Load More Replies...I get the distinct impression that he wasn't into her from the start. Navel gazing just ain't what it used to be.

This literally made me cry because of so many reasons... The boy looks like my only ex GF, only ex ever. This is incredibly accurate.
Me and my Princess are just Starting a Long Distance Relationship... Philippines to Turkey... ^_^ And We Will Finish Hard ^_^
Happy to say I'm now living abroad and married to my once-upon-a-time online boyfriend. But I've had two such relationships. It can be beyond hard. What kept us going and motivated was looking ahead to today, the days we are now living in, and it was worth every struggle. Keep that in mind, if you are in this position. :)
would have been a better story if she would have been talking to a dead ex boyfriend that still keeps in touch from the afterlife writing messages in the mirror and leaving love audio notes and stuff, you know, the impossible love overcomes everything, even life sort of story ;)
it was sad cause it remembered me my last relationship, until she says he has another girl. there i stopped being sad, finished the comic just to see the ending. bleh.
