In my series I would like to reveal zodiac sign’s character trough surreal women portraits in a different way.
I think zodiac signs escort us in our lifetime, from birth until death. Our whole subsistence is a circuit, and the unescapable eternal fight of Life and Death is part of it. In my opinion, one of the most important things are to find the balance in ourselves, to discover hope, catch the hidden beauty in the world where we live in, and search pleasures in the smallest things.

I am sorry for that you do not like your sign. I tried to express the curious, explorer aptitude. The Virgos sometimes unbelieving, that was the reason, why I painted the butterfly front of her, and she can take a decision follow or not it. She scared from the unknow things, but she is wise also.

I almost feel like this painting was the last one, or one that was the most difficult to portray for the artist. It seems as though there wasn't as much of a push for detail as there was in the other paintings. The hair looks nearly unfinished and there isn't as nearly as much expression in the facial features. What were the thoughts going into this painting? Why was this the final outcome?

Thank you your remark. I am a Canser so this sign is so close to me. This was not the last one, this was a second one, when I painted the series. The Canser is so withdrawn. We like people, but don't want to show our deep emotion at the first time. We need time to get closer them. We have a "shell", and we save our soul, and heart. This was the reason why I did not paint a many detail. Because the vitals are inside of us. The women face I think mostly secretly as "pokerface". But you have right, so difficult to paint the multiple personality as Cancers have, but it is a fact about all zodiac signs.

I am a Taurus. I LOVE this. It not only shows what you intend it to. To me, it shows, well, me. It's the subtle details. The flowers, the text, the chosen colors, the whole imagery. We, Taurus, are Earth creatures. Loving flowers and earth tone colors. We are typically studied and smart. We are diverse, not chaotic like it may seem. We dream big. We are thoughtful. I see those qualities exhibited here and its excellent. You have a true talent. Thank you for sharing. I see nothing off-putting or disturbing myself. The balance of life and breath is obvious, but it is the further thought in the details that make it shine. (No disrespect to the individual who did find it disturbing. I'm simply expressing my own opinion, and encouraging an artist.)

Thank you so much, the red eyes means the interesting personality, if she is angry or somebody hurts her she can be vindictive. She is interesting in unknow things and in the occult science. And I love the spawn from salmons, so it is a little overlap.

Hello! I’m new here, and I just have to say your paintings move me. The way you use the colors and textures, you are so talented! I’m a Libra and this painting has a such a cool story to it. How Libras give their heart away so easily, how they are so sociable that they don’t have any time to care for themselves. This is because we thrive on others smiles and want to give happiness.
