Some Idiot Tries Body-Shaming Busy Philipps, Gets A Well Deserved Lesson
There are a lot of disgusting ways people body-shame others. Luckily, people like Elizabeth Jean “Busy” Philipps constantly remind us that we have to stand up for ourselves and ot allow the trolls to get under our skin. The savage actress has just schooled a man who mocked her post-workout selfie on Instagram in a way that he will probably never forget.
A lecture on grammar? Check. A lesson on common human decency? Check. A sassy poetic insult? Ohhh, you bet.
“You know how when you’re a woman, sometimes people feel like they should be able to comment about your body all the time or make laws about your body? Well when you’re an actress, or any female in the public eye, everyone feels that they can comment on your body all the f—— time,” Philipps said. “The amount of people in my long 20-year career in this industry who’ve come up to me in grocery stores and Bed Bath and Beyonds to talk with people about my weight … I think it’s a good thing to err on the side of ‘Let’s not talk to people about their bodies unless they bring it up first and they want to talk about their bodies.'”

Who cares, seriously? Some ideas posting meaningsless stuff as a reply to a post that has no value but for being a selfie made by someone known from TV. Why not stick to 78+ Animal Snapchats and the like rather than posting these "people were infuriated" stuff? People todays are infuriated for everything but for those things that globally really go wrong, so I'd rather not read about this here.
I clicked on the article thinking I was going to read a sassy, smart come-back that really put the body-shamer in his place. Not an over-used put down about one of the most common errors in texts. Why did we click on the article people are asking? Good grief! Sometimes you click on an article and are disappointed. The problem is the over-promising heading and the non-story that follows. Of course people are going to be irritated and say so.

BP clearly titles what each of it's posts are about. If you know you don't like this kind of post, don't click on it. There are many other choices. I can look right at the title of a post and know right away that it's not for me, so I don't click it. Try this and be less annoyed.

Only by commenting can we expect BP to take any notice. Not that I have a clue if they do or not. I am, sorry to say, rather bored by the constant pointing out of 'Your' and 'You're'.
