Set To Get $500K Per Year From Divorce, Britney Spears’ Ex, Sam Asghari, Speaks Fondly Of Marriage
Sam Asghari has revealed that he harbors no bitterness towards pop icon Britney Spears after he filed for divorce from her last year, citing irreconcilable differences.
The Iranian model and fitness trainer, who celebrated his 30th birthday on March 3, said he would never talk badly about Britney and sees their marriage as a “chapter of [his] life.”
“It was a blessing to be able to share life with someone for a long time. And people grow apart, and people move on,” Sam told People.
“I’ve always hated people leaving a certain relationship — and at some point, they told each other they love each other and they sat at the same table and ate food [together] — so I never understood when people part ways [and] they talk badly about each other,” he continued. “That’s something I’m never going to do because I had nothing but an amazing experience and a great life, and that’s always going to be part of my life, a chapter of my life.”
Sam and Britney met in 2016 after the former was cast to play the singer’s love interest in the music video for her song Slumber Party.
The two exchanged wedding vows in June 2022 in what became Britney’s third marriage.

The Toxic singer first married her childhood friend Jason Alexander in 2004 in a spur of events that Britney described as a drunken mistake.
“As a twentysomething will do after a few drinks, I wound up in bed with one of my friends — a childhood friend who I’ve known forever,” she was quoted writing in her book.
“The third night we were together, he and I got s—faced. I don’t even remember that night at all, but from what I’ve pieced together, he and I lounged around the hotel room and stayed up late watching movies — Mona Lisa Smile and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre – then had the brilliant idea of going to A Little White Chapel at three thirty in the morning. When we got there, another couple was getting married, so we had to wait. Yes – we waited in line to get married.” she continued.
Their marriage lasted for less than three days, and Britney eventually had their marriage annulled.
“People have asked me if I loved him. To be clear: he and I were not in love. I was just honestly very drunk — and probably in a more general sense at the time in my life, very bored,” the singer added.
The same year, she got married to her former backup dancer, Kevin Federline, who is the father to her two sons, Sean Preston, 17, and Jayden James. The pair split in 2007.
In April 2022, while Sam and Britney were still together, the couple announced that they were expecting their first child together. However, they revealed that the singer suffered a pregnancy loss about a month later.
Sam filed for divorce on Aug. 16 last year, and he reportedly listed his date of separation from Britney as July 28, 2023.

Britney spoke about the separation to her followers in August last year and said she was a little shocked but has been “playing it strong.”
“As everyone knows, Hesam and I are no longer together … 6 years is a long time to be with someone so, I’m a little shocked but … I’m not here to explain why because its honestly nobody’s business !!! But, I couldn’t take the pain anymore honestly !!!” she wrote on Instagram.
“In some sort of telepathic way I have been receiving so many messages that melt my heart from friends and I thank you !!! I’ve been playing it strong for way too long and my Instagram may seem perfect but it’s far from reality and I think we all know that !!!” she continued. “I would love to show my emotions and tears on how I really feel but some reason I’ve always had to hide my weaknesses !!! If I wasn’t my dad’s strong soldier, I would be sent away to places to get fixed by doctors !!! But that’s when I needed family the most !!! You’re supposed to be loved unconditionally … not under conditions !!!! So I will be as strong as I can and do my best !!! And I’m actually doing pretty damn good !!! Anyways have a good day and don’t forget to smile !!!”
Earlier this year, a source claimed that Sam was promised $1 million for every two years of their marriage in their prenuptial agreement. However, Sam now hopes to walk away from the marriage with more, the source said.
“She feels Sam is playing the ‘Mr. Britney Spears’ card for everything it’s worth,” the source told OK! “She finds it kind of pathetic.”
“The exact amount he wants is being kept confidential, but he’s not happy with what Britney and her team have proposed,” the source added.
The source also said that things have become more complicated than they initially thought.
“Sam isn’t hurting for cash, but he’s willing to dig in and fight for the extra money he feels he deserves,” the source said.

The rumor mill, spinning since the news of their separation came out, also includes claims about Sam being attacked by Britney in his sleep.
Sources told TMZ that Sam often complained about the singer becoming physically violent and having fights where security had to intervene. On one occasion, Britney began punching Sam while he was sleeping in their bed, one source claimed.
A report from last year also said Britney was spotted in a California restaurant being “manic” and yelling gibberish while Sam was visibly upset, according to eyewitnesses who spoke to TMZ.
The sources also claimed that Sam stormed off, leaving Britney alone at the restaurant before she, too, eventually left without paying the bill. Her bodyguard later came back to the restaurant to pay.
Months after filing for divorce from the Piece of Me singer, Sam said in his recent interview with People that he’s now focusing on maintaining a “healthy lifestyle.”
“I used to think people that were 30 years old were so old when I was in high school. But every person I talk to, the older they get, the more they get to enjoy life because with age comes wisdom and experiences,” he said. “And I think experiences in life are beautiful, so that’s something that I’m just super excited to just be fulfilled with.”
“I always have the most positive mindset about life. My experiences in life have shaped me into the man I am today. I will continue growing. I come from a place where we celebrate our past,” he added. “I look back fondly. My past was a blessing and beautiful.”

She was reported to be worth a total in assets and liquid funds of 50 to 55 million,. Let's not pretend she hasn't blown at least 10 million in bad financial planning since the conservatorship is done. She already has on ex and 3 kids plus now another ex getting alimony, 500k a year needs minimum 10 million solid invested to sustain for more than 15 to 20 years, lets say she needs a good 30 million to cover all her leeches needs in total, she is one more relationship away from being done and dusted and taken to the cleaners imo.
