Wait you mean I'm actually supposed to hear voices?

A decent proportion of people "hear" themselves when they think, kind of like how if you imagine an apple there's an apple in your head (usually. As it turns out, not everyone can do that either). The rest of us vary between "internal thinking voice is silent" to "you guys are thinking using words all the time?".

You mean there are people who aren't constantly writing an elaborate fanfiction in their heads?

For those who don't hear anything when they think just know that this voice has a very different quality from "hearing voices" or auditory hallucinations. We know this voice is in our head and just the voice of our thinking

I even hear my voice when reading or writing / typing, I always considered that as perfectly average. It's really surprising to see not everyone's mind works like that. Guess it's the same with dreaming. There are a so many different types of dreamers, it's just fascinating.

When this was first news I was horrified to find out that my husband doesn't have an inner dialogue. I must admit it changed the way I feel about him. Still love him but I'm not sure we're the same kind of human.

I really wish my inner dialogue would shut the f**k up. Most of the time it's stuff I really don't want/ need to hear.

It's like reading to yourself without seeing text. It's hard for me to imagine not having an inner voice to organize my thoughts into sentences. I can think in images too, but they tend to be vaguer.

Are you folks able to hear an entire song, whether it's a popsong or a classical, in your head? And I mean like, every instrument separate but at once? I know I can. I love it.

I don't think I do. It's more like I visualize things I need to take care of etc. There most definitely isn't a voice or anything. I can't quite imagine what that must be like.

My voice never shuts up. Its currently singing "Don't Let the Sun Go Down on Me" by Robert Daltrey from the Lost Boys soundtrack, and telling my hand where the chip bag is and trying to draft this comment.

The stats are off - 30%-50% have that dialogue all the time. More than 75% have that dialogue at least some of the time. I'm an "all the time" one.

Internal *monolog*. It takes two separate people/minds to hold a dialog. If you are holding an internal dialog, then you are psychotic with a Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID).

You ever go to the grocery store, and you're trying to make a bee line to the frozen food section because you know *exactly* what you want, but there's some no internal dialogue having f**k just meandering in the aisle, not really looking for anything?

I only hear what I read in my head. My thoughts tend to be too abstract for words most of the time. It's amazing how we each can come from completely different internal perspectives.

I have words, images, smells, sounds and physical memories that are as vivid as when they happened. Mostly it’s ok but I had to do a lot of therapy to defuse some bad stuff. Totally worth it.

With so many pages dedicated to all kinds of different content that always find their audience, it isn’t easy to make your page successful on Instagram. But The Tinder Blog Instagram account sounds as strong as ever, amassing more than 4 million people for their daily fix of fun and lighthearted entertainment.

So to find out more about “The Tinder Blog, we reached out to its creator who started it as a joke in business school. Turns out its origins date back to 9 years ago, in 2014, which was the time “far before there were influencers, or people making money on Instagram,” according to its creator.

“I was getting my MBA at USC and I was bored in class and wanted to do something creative. I always felt that I was somewhat funny and wanted to create a page to express it,” the creator told Bored Panda. “It was just a hobby to entertain people,” they added.

When asked how they select the content that gets shared on the page, the creator who still runs the account explained that it is based on years of trial and error. “I feel as though I know the audience well and what they like/react to. I do not believe in posting anything controversial, regardless of my personal beliefs.”

Most importantly, the author of The Tinder Blog sees the page as an escape from what is going on in the world which provides a safe place to make people laugh. When it comes to the audience of “The Tinder Blog,” 85% are from North America and most are female, the creator said.

The creator argues that the quality of content makes The Tinder Blog stand out from social media and keep their followers entertained. “I am very fortunate to have met many creators and stand-up comedians who submit their hilarious content. I truly enjoy developing a relationship and watching them grow as well. Some have become lifelong friends, such as @Ninamariedaniele.”

But The Tinder Blog is far from the only page its creator has. “Currently, I have 12 pages, with this one being the largest one. I have created quite a few others, but I have been leaning into feel-good content and have created @Delightful_animals and @Dailyhappystories. With so much negativity in the world, it's got to be able to share positivity.”

The creator feels truly lucky to be in the position they are in: “and do not take it for granted nor do I abuse it. I love supporting charities/nonprofits, so if there are any nonprofits that do need exposure, please reach out and anyone suffering from depression/mental health, please reach out.” The person behind The Tinder Blog said that they read all messages and have coached a few people who are going through a hard time.

Me too, but just to make it more fun, I do it by simply slowing down, not hitting the break. Less aggressive but just as irritating, and in today's America, no need to p**s someone off, they may have a gun.
