By day, I am a tattoo artist, but I have found myself with a bit more time on my hands due to the lockdowns. Being able to spend this time with them helps stave off the existential gloom and makes some fun moments that bring some simple positivity that I thought I would start to share.

my dog eats snow like she'll die without it. every ten seconds, i look over to my dog gobbling snow off the ground. she's got a problem.

OMG I used to have a Sheprador, Shadow, that was just like this! When I first told my now-husband he didn't believe me until he saw Shadow running through chomping at the snow. I miss that dog so much <3

so my pitbull and i were playing outside and he would jump and try to get the snowball i threw and if he misses hed try to dig in the snow for it. XD

If it gets past the normal feeding time, my golden retriever/pyrenees mix will come up and tap at my thigh a few times with his paw. Almost like he's saying, "Hey, mom! It's time to feed us".
Spending time with my pets during the lockdowns has been an incredible source of comfort and joy. It reminded me of how having multiple furry friends can enrich our lives immensely despite the challenges.
