These are very well done, but I find all of them somehow sad and disquieting.
Like Pompeii after the volcano erupted.
I agree. I think maybe it's the monochrome that makes me uneasy.
yes, I felt the same sadness too...I agree with you Kitty
Who could ever immagine that stone can be so soft and warm....
They are not made from stone, but from a lot of different materials like steel, concrete, glass, polyester, wood, polyamide and finished off with a coating.
Thanks for explaining. I was wondering what the medium was.
Wow, what is the coating/ surface? They look so touchable in a photo. Am wondering if you would be able to sense the different materials by touch and if there would be surprises.
WOW! And I thought "The Kiss" from Rodin was impressive. http://www.musee-rodin.fr/en/collections/sculptures/kiss Maybe it's the textures that reminded me of it, I don't know. 784_alt_42...5e9c37.jpg

This actually looks a lot more impressive in how the muscles and stuff are done imo. These things here are really cool, especially the objects, whereas the people kind of look a little bit simplified(perhaps it's because of the materials he's using?).
