This Company Is Selling Nose Warmers For People Who Are Always Cold (14 Pics)
Winter is on its way! Time to do a quick wardrobe inventory, to make sure you are prepared. Big fluffy coat? Check. Thick socks? Gotcha. Scarf and woolly hat? Naturally. Seems like you’re pretty much covered. Except.. how to keep that one, exposed part of the body warm that always seems to get neglected, the nose?
Well, I guess you could go old-school and rock the balaclava look, but besides being illegal in some places it’s also just a little bit too…terroristy. But fear not, a solution is here. A UK based company called, aptly, ‘The Nosewarmer Company‘ is producing nosewarmers in a variety of styles and colors, and it might just become the essential accessory for this winter. “I got the idea in 2009 when I had a genuine cold nose,” founder of the company Sally Steel-Jones told Bored Panda. “I wear mine in the house, they are not seen on the streets …. yet! I sell worldwide and they are design registered.”
“It looks a bit silly,” you say? So do Christmas jumpers and bobble hats, but plenty of people wear those. With enough cold-nosed people out there to create a demand for the warmers, one day it might be you looking silly walking around with your red, bare nose!
What do you think about the idea? Scroll down below to see how they look for yourself, and let us know in the comments!
The Nosewarmer company is doing great business with their brilliantly simple invention, the nose warmer

Share on FacebookYou should be careful of the color or you'll get a bunch of comments about brownnosing :D
and if you choose red, people could suddenly start calling you Rudolph (on the other hand if that is really your name, it could make it other easier for other people to remember it), treat you as a clown and ask if they may squeeze it and make it honk and/or jokingly ask you if you're drunk. Have fun :)
Load More Replies...Knitters have known about these for years. They're great for kids, especially for walks to school in the winter, and an easy beginning pattern for learning increases and decreases, and can be made in a few hours.
Those knitted ones are going to be completely useless. They have way too many holes in between stitches for wind to blow through. Never mind finding customers brave enough to step onto the street wearing one of these, when you can just pull your scarf up over your nose.
Umm, only if you use super thin yarn with really big needles. That's like saying knitted scarves, gloves, hats, sweaters, etc. are useless for keeping warm because of all the holes. It's relatively easy to knit a fabric that doesn't have holes in the manner you describe.
Load More Replies...Omfg this is hilarious. My mom has been asking for 12 years for a nose warmer, or sock. Idek why people really want this but I'll be happy to tell her her wish came true.
I'm sticking with pulling a bandana over my nose. Bonus points if it has a cute kitty face!
Finally ! I was looking for a new way to look like a dumbass this winter :D
Gaston Lagaffe (french comic from the 70s) already had this idea... and friends of mine knitted these things in the 80s for themselves
To each their own, but this has got to be one of the stupidest things I've seen in a long time.
they should make it look like other noses- like a bunny nose- or a cartoon nose
I made these a long long time ago just to sleep in and if needed to wear outside but I also made matching hats so they didn't look silly but not that word has changed to fun.
Sorry, but there is just no way to make those things not look ridiculous.
I tried to find out more info but was stopped when I had to "log in" I hate to have my info all over town just to see what something costs seems redickuolus .
This is just about the stupidest s**t I've seen yet. This ranks right up there with "c**k warmers". (Ask your Mother).
If this was a thing say 200 years ago then they would not be stupid now I always wanted this to be a thing but I always wished it was something that was started long enough ago to make it not seem like a dumb idea
I'm surprised there aren't more modeled on animal noses. With a cat nose you could ever have soft whiskers.
