Ever wondered what sorts of meals famous movie directors would make if they were chefs? A comic artist who goes by the name of Cheekylicious certainly has, and as you can see below, the cartoon drawings are brilliantly accurate.
Using the stylistic quirks and cinematic themes associated with some of the world's most beloved movie makers, the artist merges the well-known techniques, movie genres, and personality types of these movie directors. From Wes Anderson and Steven Spielberg to Christopher Nolan and Quentin Tarantino with various culinary creations to show us what these master storytellers would whip up for us in the kitchen. Like food that all tastes the same? Then Tim Burton is the chef for you. Prefer good food reheated until it tastes like a shadow of its former self? Then Let George Lucas prepare you a snack. And if you want a meal that you'll never, ever forget, check out Uwe Boll's signature dish. Don't forget to vote for your favorite director and his funny cartoon!

Hayao Miyazaki
Miyazaki was anything but traditional!! He was a progressive genius and way ahead of his time.
Can we not simply agree on always putting "good guy" in front of Hayao Miyazaki every time we speak the name?
Tim Burton
Quentin Tarantino
Steven Spielberg
The raptor ate it... those silly boys...
Load More Replies...That's not accurate, it should be a recipe taken from a book that nobody read and made into a over-presumptuous epic mov-... meal. Also Spilberg should look more arrogant than a peaceful Mickey Mouse like figure.
Peter Jackson
cause we love to eat several times in a day, as hobbitses, my preciouss <3
Load More Replies...Has anyone seen his very firstish movie???? Dead Alive I still wonder who watched that and thought "lets give this man millions!!"
Wes Anderson
All his films are about grief and suffocating nostalgia. That’s the value.
Load More Replies...Christopher Nolan
and you can spin a top to determine if the desert is real or not ^^
Not dark enough...and the food should be served on black rubber plates.
George Lucas
"If this is the escape pod, where's the pod?"
Load More Replies...Uhm...that would be J.J. Abrams...George lucas was actually one of the best producers in action movies. He gave us masterpieces like the Indiana Jones trilogy and the ORIGINAL star wars trilogy. How you could hate on a man like that is beyond me.
Well, the prequels kind of sucked. That's what they're making fun of here.
Load More Replies...There were a lot of years between Return of the Jedi and the prequels when Lucas clearly did not want to do any more of them. It was the fans that kept at it. He just finally took it for the opportunity to develop new special effects. And that is why the storyline bit.
Funny, but kinda unfair:)he did inspire sci fi movies to change forever ,like noone ever has before
Ok. So just don't know anything of his work besides the Special edition of Star Wars. Good for you
James Cameron
What if it ran on popcorn butter? That would be eco friendly enough for him. :-D

In the next frame the cake transforms in a mechanical beast with laser guns for arms and TNT sticks for legs
Coen Brothers
I'd say their cuisine is more like meatloaf: it may appear to be a bland slice of Americana, but when it's made right, it's a delight!
Not all of their movies look boring, nor are they too weird, see True Grit for example. (Though please note I'm not extremely familiar with all their movies.)
I think you are thinking of the Wachowski

Uwe Boll
Okay....totally snorted so loud at the office, and my coworkers are making fun of me...worth it!!!! This is the best, and most true thing, ever.
OK I'm not sure who this director is but damn...wicked burn lol. I guess the artist thinks his movies are c**p, literally
He's famous for making really bad movies as tax write-offs

Additional. Park Chan Wook - "I secretly added laxative in this food, so you can serve to that bastard who bullied you in high school". Takeshi Kitano: "Here is a meal made of ingredients you may think would not go together, but it all somehow tastes really good". Satoshi Kon: "A meal that will make you experience things out of this world".
Oh! Hi there, Daria B. Nice to see you commenting again. I'm so SO pleased to see you mentioning Satoshi Kon!
Load More Replies...Right in time to fit within the Wonder Woman hype. Which, btw, was directed by a woman too.
Load More Replies...Steven Spielberg should just be him covered in food, on his knees, crying to the sky saying, "I can cook now! Do you love me now, daddy?"
