Artist Draws Oscar Nominated Films From The Animal Perspective

In celebration of the 88th Academy Awards on February 28th 2016, artist Geoffrey Hewer-Candee has drawn humorous comics for 13 of the Oscar nominated films, but with a twist: the movies are from the point of view of animals who were in the films but not seen on screen. A mouse living in the department store in Carol... A cockroach from the hotel in Anomalisa... A couple of octopuses who watch the boat go by in Brooklyn... A kitten whose voice winds up in Star Wars The Force Awakens... These are the stories of the unsung creatures from last year's movies.

This special series is an offshoot from Geoffrey's ongoing webcomic, "Animal Problems", which highlights human issues through the lens of animals.
