The title of this diptych is taken from a book “The Invisible Cities”by an Italian writer, Italo Calvino.

These two urban visions represent the sadness of urban centers with 600,000 inhabitants and up. Thousands of opportunities if you have money, loneliness and nightmares if you feel lonely and have financial difficulties.

Even culture and certain events are only the prerogative of certain economic classes. In many cities, alternative or underground events are prohibited and political power prefers to know people locked up at home watching Netflix or television. Forming the mind in cultural and musical realities not managed by the elite of the culture that attracts the free market is a threat for them because it favors free thought that frightens the dominant power.
