It makes me sad that her name has been taken over and is now associated with evil. I LOVED the name Isis and I actually had a kitty by that name but now I think it would raise more than a few eyebrows if a child or pet was named Isis. As much as I preach about not caring what others think, there are so many ignorant loud, violent people in the world you run the risk of getting yourself or (god forbid) your family hurt just for knowing and enjoying Egyptian history.
