The COVID-19 pandemic is not over yet, and perhaps this is an opportune moment to reflect on our lives. Quarantine, lockdown, social distancing, work from home are the new normal in 2020, and this pandemic taught us, humans, so many lessons.
From frontline heroes to ignorant people, true love to dark humor, social changes to self-reflection—here are my 17 illustrations in various styles about this unimaginable crisis. Thank you for reading and stay safe.

Lockdown Time
I feel like a kid who keeps loosing recess time because the other kids can't follow the rules.
Not really how it works. But still cleaver. Maybe exchange the sand to sculls :/
I don't think the earth would survive without its pandemics and plagues.
Unfortunately in the United States companies were given more licence to pollute because of "covid related hardships". Trump is also taking protection off preserves like Northeast Canyons and Seamounts which Obama helped place protection on less than a decade ago.

Modern Age Warrior
I think that this is a valid statement, but maybe it could have been said in a nicer way.

Don’t Lose Hope Because Better Days Will Come
Maybe if more countries could provide for their elderly, people wouldn't feel the need to have lots of kids to ensure someone was around to support them in their old age. Fine in countries with pension systems or even readily available contraception, but it's just not going to happen in other places. No contraception? Your only option is abstinence and there are too many who would absolutely not go for that.

Take Me, Please
For me it's the nasty/stupid/racist people who are coming out in this pandemic. I can't with them. Never imagined the level of stupidity and lack of common sense. I was so jealous of the two astronauts who left the earth the other day lol
COVID has been less deadly vs plagues of the past because we have better technology and sanitation. If not for human advancements we would have much higher fatality rates than we already do. That doesn't mean it isn't still dangerous.

Running just leaves the strong behind to win for you. The flu is a flea compared this dragon.
Fear is temporary and leads to temporary change. It motivates but does not provide clear thinking.

Together We Can Do It
Too bad people keep going out unmasked to highly populated areas, spreading the virus more and filling our hospitals again.
Stay Home
And IF just IF there is a chance for them to spread it or get it ,it can cause so much pain and sorrow. Stay strong stay home.
I disagree with this one, based on my interpretation: these two men know each other, and are going to go to a park to play and stay far enough away from others to not endager others. After all, it's a football (aka soccer ball) so I think it's a fair conclusion they are going to play outside.
The Economy
Oh yeah, because who cares about 117K+ deaths in the US and 418K+ deaths worldwide? The economy is more important than human life, right? /s

I've been house bound since last September. Almost well, have been fine tuning my drawing skills and am so grateful for this open door!
I am going crazy inside my own head. That’s why I’m on here. I can’t think of anything else to do instead.
Which is great for your health. Drinking isn't a good way to solve problems.
