IKEA Turned Children’s Drawings Into Real Plush Toys To Raise Money For Charity
With IKEA’s help, ten lucky kids’ drawings have left the realm of fantasy to become real, tangible plush toys. And it’s all for a good cause – IKEA will sell them around the world as part of its Soft Toys For Education campaign. After the finalists were chosen from a worldwide selection of cute animals and mythical creatures, IKEA’s toy designers turned them into these wonderful animal toys for sale at their stores.
IKEA has been running its Soft Toys For Education campaign for 12 years, but this is the first time they used toys designed by children. One dollar/euro from each purchase will go to UNICEF and Save The Children.
It’s a great idea, but it’s not the first time we’ve seen it – Budsies also turned kids’ drawings into fun fantasy animal toys.

These are the most adorable things on earth. I think the plush toys are soooo creative. I love the idea.
few years ago start with this "idea" some people in czech repulic - in Ostrava city, they are calling "Panenkárna" (viz here: www.panenkarna.cz), so I am not sure if this is "amazing IKEA ideas"... I don´t think so
I found the dinosaur sheriff in a Barnardo's charity shop a few weeks back. So even now they are still out there raising money for charity :)
Kids at those ages don't draw within the lines so neatly. I doubt it was all kids that made them. They do look cool though.
check just-cuddle.com I ordered great plush for my nephew. He was delighted.
