Erebus the dense darkness that prevails beneath the Earth. There the souls do acrobatics until they reach the gates of Hades. Erebus came from Chaos and Gaia through Eros. Nix(night) Erebus΄s sister symbolize silence and darkness at the depth of the night.
Together they created the Ether, the Light of Heaven and the Day, the three basic elements of the universe according to ancient mythology. Persephone, Erinyes, Cerberus, Hecatochires and Pluto live in Erebus and celebrate the biggest night in the form of winter.
They appear in the forests of the high mountains of the Centaurs, trying to wake them from their eternal winter dormancy. When they arrive, the landscape is cut off from the worldly and acrobats at the edge of extraterrestrial matter. Strong winds enliven the forests, making them dance from the Ether that touches them, other trees are screaming from the suffocating pressure that strangles them.

The light of the sky becomes a white sunset, like a veil of dense fog that quenches Gaia with the rain it brings. Gaia is now receding like the snow of spring, in the extraterrestrial field that sways, revealing the sleeping Centaurs that Erebus has blinded to eternal sleep in the roots of the forest.
The Centaurs are floating in the eternal Chaos, waking up and galloping together with the inhabitants of Erebus until the beginning of spring . Then Erebus disappears and the Centaurs return to their mountain, today's Mt Pelion, to celebrate their liberation from the shackles of darkness.
