I’ve Always Enjoyed Placing Animals In Funny Situations Or Daily Scenarios That We Can All Relate To (30 Illustrations)
My name is Teo Zirinis, aka HandsOffMyDinosaur. I'm a 35-year-old illustrator from Athens, Greece that loves to create quirky, out-of-the-box cartoons.
Animals have been a great source of inspiration for many of my works. Whether it's through puns or visual jokes, I've always enjoyed placing them in funny situations or daily scenarios that we can all relate to.

I’ve been fascinated by animals ever since I was a little kid. Reading nature magazines and watching wildlife documentaries were my favorite pastimes. Through them, I discovered a magical world full of diverse species, each with their own habits and peculiarities that I still find captivating to this day.

From start to finish I would say it takes around 2 to 3 hours for me to fully finish an illustration once I have a clear idea of what I will be drawing. This can, of course, vary depending on the complexity of the work, but I like to keep my illustrations as simple as possible. Brainstorming ideas is usually the longest part of the process.

For those that did not get it, The NARWHAL is the unicorn of the sea, a pale-colored porpoise found in Arctic coastal waters and rivers–source is from Nationalgeographics. It is one of two living species of whale in the family Monodontidae, along with the beluga whale. The narwhal males are distinguished by an elongated upper left CANINE –From wikipedia.
I am currently working on an idea for a picture book project that I would love to bring to life, as well as a new range of greeting card designs that I can hopefully share soon!

I recently learned that when ostriches do that they eat stones. They needs stones in their belly to digest food. And I also learned if their head is on the ground for too long, they die.

LOL "good old Nessie", she´s spotted again and again (allegedly), but if you ever saw photos from Loch Ness with the foggy atmosphere without Nessie you can imagine that people see stuff there that isn´t there for real at all.

Some Loch Ness Monsters sightings have actually been elephants. In past times travelling circuses would often stop at the Loch to let the elephants have a swim, and from a distance an elephant could me mistaken for a monster.

Not quite accurate, actually I get up at 7 am in the mornings these days (probably because the sun goes up so early now in summer and because the cats are "starving"), and then I go asleep at about 11 pm with Gizzy and Thori, my 2 adopted senior tomcats.

She. Anglerfish that we see are females. The males are very tiny. They attach to a certain part of the fish to mate. Then it morphs and becomes one with her. My favorite fish.
