What's bizarre is... he actually CAN sing. He has talent. He can hit notes, he has vibrato. I've now watched a couple of clips of him singing. He just ... he either is CHOOSING to sing it atrociously, or the song is just .... atrocious XD

It's a cultural song sung in a specific way in a specific, local Chinese dialect. It ISN'T "bad", it's just not what you're used to. Mocking and disparaging songs from other cultures isn't cool.
