Stephen King's Pet Semetary. I've heard the hype, and even heard that Stephen himself couldn't bear to write it because of how horrifying it was. It did not live up to its promise. For most of the book, I just felt like every event was trying to set up something else. The only actual horror comes in 5/6 through the book.
