I present my reason for a kindle, arthritis in my hands. Holding a book just gets too painful, where as I can arrange a kindle many different ways. I do LOVE Books though.

Reading is reading. I read almost 100% free books, fun the library. Haven't stepped foot into one in years, ebooks and audio books galore

I use an e-reader for portability. I travel for work and take my tablet and phone with me. I always have multiple books available with an e-reader.

Overrated? They are a unique genre and not everyone's taste for sure but overrated? Tarantino is overrated as a director because he does one thing well, pastiche movies, hes good at that one thing but ANY superhero movie overrated: no, wrong term.

Then you will be delighted to read ANY Barbara Tuchman book about history. That woman could write. Her "A Distant Mirror" is probably one of the best I have ever read, you should take a look at "The Great Influenza" by Barry, "The German Dictatorship" [forgot the author's name], And, for a great deal of "fun" anything by Josephus.

Well you don’t say why you don’t trust them so can’t comment on that but I love my slow cooker and use it probably 2-3 times a week. Even learned how to bake a cake in it. But my meats ALWAYS come out so tender and juicy/moist. Learn to use one properly and it’ll be a friend for life. ;-)

Apple phones - Overrated, gutted I bought in to them in the first place. Now I own £1000's worth of apps and music I'm stuck with them. Underrated - Microsoft Teams - our business has thrived through the pandemic because of this app. So much so that we've adopted a hybrid way of working and don't force people to come to the office as they can easily contact each other on Teams.

While teams has some ok functionality - it is a deployment and security diaster. Lots of IT people will put teams in the over-rated section.

In Australia we are not allowed to have prescription drugs advertised, but we do get A LOT of ads for vitamins etc. Most commonly multivitamins that most people don't need, and that have such little amount of each vitamin anyway that if you have a deficiency it won't really help anyway. Plus you pay too much for them.

Overrated: Air Fryers. Every food that comes out of them are as dry as a cactus in a drought, probably more so. Underrated:Cabbage. It gets a bad rap because of the smell that wafts out when it is cooking. I've been eating cabbage since I was a toddler, when my mom cooked it with corned beef and put mustard on the side to dip in.

Overrated; the 1st and 2nd Amendments to the U.S. Constitution Underrated; the rest of the Amendments. And the corollary; those who yell and scream about the first two amendments can, in my experience, never answer the question, "Since you seem to know the Constitution quite well, how many amendments are there besides the first two?" Never had anyone of them answer this correctly.
