Definitely stopped the itching lol

I cut myself near the base of my thumb with a pocketknife when trying to remove the outer hard plastic shell of those juicy drop pop thingy's...the knife left a cut 1/2 inch deep horizontally into my hand. I still to this day tell people i was self-teaching myself how to whittle.

The story is (I was too young to remember) I was 3 years old and upset about something. I grabbed a knife and yelled, "I'm going to commit soy sauce!" And stabbed myself violently in the wrist. They say time heals all wounds. I guess it's true, or at least the wounds fade and melt into the wrinkles and ravages of time, so they are no longer noticeable. When I was young, the scar was an angry, puckery welt, very noticeable, and people would ask about it. Today I had to look to see if it was even still there.

I have a scar from a molten sugar burn too. On my right index finger. It took forever to heal! I was making English toffee.

Ouch! If you commit any crimes, be sure to wear gloves. That's a very unique fingerprint.

Why is this so common? Guess we don’t have to worry about pencils in school any more.

Hi all! Enjoyed a Miami Dolphins game so much that the party continued at my parents home. It was a nice windy day so I decided to fly a kite in their backyard which was half brick pavers and pool. Our chocolate lab was chasing me, lots of laughs until I trip over air. Stood up, saw my wrist was bent (like a step) and went to find my Ma. She wasn’t too happy, mostly because I was 28 and utterly shite-faced. The ER loved it lol. That little white dash is one of three places they had to insert pins. Didn’t feel a thing.

The funny part was, because my Dad was using the "big" chainsaw to cut down the trees that I was cutting branches off of, he couldn't hear me trying to tell him I'd cut myself, so I asked my friend ( who was there playing "sidewalk superintendent" ) to go tell him, while I went inside to wash/disinfect/bandage, etc. Somehow, "James cut his hand" morphed into "James cut his hand OFF", so my Dad comes running into the house, absolutely FREAKED OUT, to find me running cold water over a couple of cuts less than an inch long, completely mystified as to why he's so panicked.
