Stanleys. Everyone at my school has one, and they're literally just cups with handles and a straw. If you really want a handle, then you can just weld one on! I don't understand why everyone's so obsessed with them.

Ikr? I get liking the cups, but the obsessiveness of the people who have them is mad

I have heard that the internet is overrated. I would not know for sure as I do not have it.

obsessively studying high school level math (we’re eighth grade) and prepping for your SATs. Despite my school being an American oriented school, we are very much stereotypically Asian. All of this studying always leads to failing the tests because HIGH SCHOOL MATH ISNT ON THE MIDDLE SCHOOL TESTS 🤯.

If you don’t dedicate your life to studying and Harvard, you’re a slacker and lazy and mocked which develops a crazy amount of insecurity. If you do, you lose your sleep and maybe sanity. And no teacher forces us to do this either—it’s the students or their parents. We’ll all probably grow up and do the same to our kids if any of us have them.

Idk if this is a trend in other schools but I’m from Asia and it’s definitely a thing in mine. Sorry for the rant!

REAL I go to a prep school and everything is centered around SATs and ACTs. They start focusing on them really early, especially if you’re in an honors course in middle school

Electric Cars. Quick. Yes. Fast. Yes. Long range...getting there. But there will be an electricity shortage. And what about the disposal of all the batteries? And how clean is the energy produced? No doubt, we need to do better than fossil fuel. But I don't see a perfect alternative yet.

1. Lululemon/Stanley’s/any brand that is only good or “exclusive” because it’s expensive

2. On BP, arguing over which country or region is better, they’re different countries. It’s not that deep.

3. Doodles/“designer mixes”. That’s backyard breeding, I’m sorry.

4. Spotify. This might be a new update but it’s just super annoying to deal with
