I've long thought the US should get rid of these congressional districts altogether.

Smoking. It's strange that we all know how dangerous it is not, just to the people who smoke, but the all the people around them through passive smoking. I have a friend who has COPD and has to wear an oxygen tank all the time because he can't breathe on his own, He never smoked a day in his life, he just soaked up all the smoke from people's cigerettes from when he was playing in smokey venues when he was making a living in the 70s 80s and 90s. I know it's banned indoors and in cars as well, especially around children, but making it illegal would save so many lives. It will probably never happen though due to the amount of money the governments make from taxing cigerettes, vapes etc.

I have severe COPD and Stage IV metastatic lung cancer at 73 years old from smoking. If this post stops one person from continuing to smoke, then my illnesses would not be in vain. For the love of God, put those cigarettes down for good!

Freedom of thought. We will all learn Newspeak and literally will no longer be able to articulate or even comprehend opposing the totalitarian state in any way, no matter how seemingly insignificant.

It's possible but IMHO unlikely. People lived under totalitarian leaderships for decades ( see East Germany) and never forgot the ability to oppose them. Whereas "freedom of speech = freedom to spread lies about minorities" has led to the death of more than one person. A balance is needed, but I wouldn't call myself able to find that balance.

"Create a society where a total cvnt and child ra.pist can't be candidtate for presidency" would be a good start.

Extremely bright headlights. It's difficult to regulate and fix but something's gotta be done as the accidents pile up.

Actually I believe that homework - I presume you mean school homework ? - is as essential as the repeated drills that football teams practice after a new play is put in their book. You learn a thing, not by one demonstration, but by repeated practice. Research the "10 000 hours" rule for skills development, and the repeated scales practised by musicians. "There is no royal road to Geometry" - or most other abilities. Do. The. Work.

I was going to say cigarettes and alcohol. Smoking has already been mentioned so I will stick to alcohol. The affects it has on so many - drink driving, domestic a***e, s*******m, the burden on the health system......surely it's something humanity can live without....

Gender affirming surgery is fantastic, and should be made available to all adults who want it. Along with other forms of gender affirming care it has a very low regret rate, far lower than many other forms of care.
