Mount Haleakalā (Maui) At Dawn
In the words of Mark Twain, "There was little conversation, for the impressive scene overawed speech. I felt like the Last Man, neglected of the judgment, and left pinnacled in mid-heaven, a forgotten relic of a vanished world." I think Mark Twain sold it short. When the sun peaked between the layers of the clouds, my legs got wobbly. I had to sit down and I said out loud, "My God, you have really out-done yourself this time."

Western Brook Pond, Gros Morne National Park, Newfoundland And Labrador, Canada
Just realized, the dog breeds Newfoundland and Labrador are named after these places, aren't they?
They sure are and both are water dogs. Newfoundland dogs were used for many years for rescuing people from sinking ships off the coast of Newfoundland and Labrador. They would go for hours until all the survivors were rescued from the water.

Because it is landlocked, the long, narrow body of water is referred to as a pond or fjord lake. It is 165 metres deep (542 feet).

Taj Mahal. India Is Such An Amazing Place
Been there, was a massive disappointment. As soon as you take not the main walk (where the picture was taken), but just the one a few metres aside, you will feel like being in a dumbster. Trash, trash, trash. From single shoes, to broken windshields, various household items, car batteries,... Still wondering how all that stuff finds it's way to that place, but it's a shame... And sad.
