Heartstopper by Alice Oseman!!! I fell in love with the character Charlie Spring and I relate to him very deeply. Volume 4 made me cry because of how real it felt, but it has a happy ending, which made me happy.
Wings of Fire, by Tui T Sutherland.I love dragons and fantasy novels, and the dragons in the story are like none that I've seen before! Usually their either highly intelligent myths or large beasts, but these dragons are basically like people- feeling the same emotions, facing similar problems, and being relatable while also having unique problems. It's honestly a great book series, and I love the world building.
The Martian, Artemis, and Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir.
It's a book series, but warrior cats. I like books about non-human animals much more than books about people. I really like cats to, and I like their world and how they live.
I will bring this up any chance I get- Gearbreakers, by Zoe Hana Mikuta. Amazing sapphic sci-fi dual-perspective book (with a sequel, too!) about a world controlled by mechas (giant evil robot-gods operated by Pilots). The main characters are Eris, a Gearbreaker (a rebel who destroys mechas) and Sona, a high-ranking Pilot trying to secretly fight against the government from the inside. They end up working together, and later falling for each other, and it's such an awesome book PLEASE go read it asap :)
