An endangered tree. I’d live for hundreds of years because the government would probably protect me, and I’d finally be tall.
A vanilla plant - delicate, requiring the tenderest of care, and keeping to myself except on special occasions. When I do open up to others, it suddenly adds a sweet flavor to peoples' lives.

I have a few choices. Bromeliad, cause they're pretty, a subspecies of mint cause I have a personal connection to it, or salal/cedar cause the PNW is the best

My online screen name refers to a dryad; specifically one that according to myth, inhabited a "Cornelian cherry" (a species of dogwood). So I guess a dogwood tree. I'm from the southern US so it seemed appropriate.

Cactus because they require little water and have a great defense. They can survive in hot weather all year round. Also, they're tall.
