Context: so let's call the friend I left A and the other friend (you'll see later) B. A and B HATE each other and I'm friends with both. A might have written something bad on a bathroom stall about B and my girlfriend (it happened it's not confirmed it was A.) B told me that I shouldn't be friends with A because (personal reasons.) So I already kinda dislike A. But I can't drop her as a friend because she'll gossip about me- it's complicated and just stupid teenage drama. So anyways A asked me to go to the pool with her today and I said sure. She left during adult swim to get a snack and told me to not leave. Her mom doesn't like me so I didn't come with her since I wouldn't be able to come inside. I (this is ongoing) have been waiting for almost an hour. DEFINITELY NTA. I would have left too if they left me waiting for forever. You should drop or just act like you tolerate them. I had a ton of friend drama last year (we'll call them N and spicy mama)I told them I didn't want to be In the middle and I felt like choosing side they said I didn't have to but I wasn't hearing the other person's story. N was a horrible friend (she wanted me to talk to my ex and I didn't want to cuz I had just broke up with him like the night before and she ambushed me but I ran away and said friends don't do that. We act like people who like each other but I hate her) but we don't want to break up the group so me and Spicy mama said f**k it act ok to each other and nothing would happen (stuff did happen and she actually ambushed me again) in the end I took Spicy Mama's side and we are still Besties. BRO IT GOT CUT OFF. Basically our houses are both really close to the pool but mine is a little closer. It wouldn't take more than 4, 5 minutes to get to hers. So am I the a$$h0le for leaving the pool? She wont be there if/when I leave (I'm going to if she isn't here soon)
