Google has been around for more than two decades now and it has become the world's number one search engine. There are good reasons for it - Google is fast, user-friendly and is good at putting the most relevant sites at the top of their results list. Unfortunately, the same can't be said about Bing. No matter how hard poor Bing tries, it never even comes near the capacities and popularity that Google has. But it's not the main reason why people started making Google vs. Bing memes.
Several years ago, someone discovered that if you type suicide-related questions in Google and Bing, they show really different results. While Google pulls up suicide hotlines first, Bing shows you the most efficient way to end things. Thus, a topic that is in no way funny, became a hilarious meme format that people can't get enough of, so Bored Panda has compiled for you a list of 20 hilarious Google vs. Bing memes. I wanted to see if this is true so I just Binged same exact search, "easiest way to suicide". I got above information after 3 other links. On top of page there is a suicide prevention number same as google.

"Gunshot of head" obviously means shooting your head out of a gun. So the former is shooting into your head, whereas the latter is shooting WITH your head. ;)

Ever actually tried Bing? It's dreadful. I tried a few times years ago and the results weren't even close to Google. It's been the best since it came out (and I think Google is an evil, evil corporation).

I use bing more than I do google. At least it isn't propaganda ridden, nor does it has 100 paid for results before the real stuff.

The ads on Google drive me crazy. Sometimes it will show 5 ads before the organic search results.

Remember Google was horrible in the beginning but because people used it (because they had a catchy ad in the early years) they took the data and metrics and fixed it, and then kept building off of that. Because people dont use bing, microsoft doesnt have the data and metrics like google does to make their better. The more you use it, the better they can make it. Algorithms only go so far. Also Bing has a reputation that when it comes to buying things, especially flights and hotels it tends to get better results that Google, because Microsoft purchased that data from the online sale services which allowed them to fine tune that one aspect. If you want Bing to be better, use it more. I think creating a big search engine that can rival google is good, as it will keep google in line, and only a corporation like Microsoft has the funds to be able to do it. I just dont like one all powerful company controlling 90% of a market, which is why I use both

I hate it that once something is looked up on bing, it continues to default to bing. It's like a guest that won't go away after 3 days of hints and suggestions.

I tried to find recipe ideas and typed 'how to pound meat' Google gave me ideas for different types of meat and preparing it for various recipes where as bing made me slam on the adult content filter

In China unless you use a proxy service Bing is all you can get and it is pretty awful. Images rarely relate to the term being searched and some are quite ridiculous as shown.

Not because of this post, but I'm using "alternatives to Google." DuckDuckGo (on Firefox!), then Bing if I'm not satisfied. Google is unbeatable for calendar and maps. Bing maps can get there if they cared, but it seems as if they don't care.
