3-Year-Old Picks ‘The Nun’ Movie As Her Theme For The Party, Gets A Response From The Main Actress
Kids are the best… right? Well, even though everyone has one or two annoying encounters with children, they do have something really special in their hearts that all grown-ups wish they will never lose. In fact, sometimes they manage to do such unique and brave things, that most of us should learn from them how to live our lives just the way we want to. Today’s story features a 3-year-old girl named Lucia that didn’t care what others might think while organizing her birthday party and the Internet absolutely loved it.

Recently, one Internet user named Andrea shared some pictures from her niece’s birthday
Her niece named Lucia that lives in Monterrey, Mexico is definitely a unique child as she demanded to have her birthday party theme on the movie ‘The Nun’, a mystery/thriller that came out last September. In an interview with Bored Panda, her aunt Andrea said “I was laughing so hard when I first saw the theme of the party, I thought it was a joke at first but turns out Lucia had insisted on it being based of the Nun.”
Lucia first saw the movie at her grandmother’s house and insisted on watching all of it
After watching the movie, Lucia insisted on her birthday party having this theme
Andrea said that all the other kids reacted pretty well, some even painted their faces too.
Lucia even got a response from ‘The nun’ herself
Laura, Lucia’s mother, says the demonic nun has been her daughter’s favorite movie character since she watched the movie.

After this post, people started sharing images of other kid’s parties that had similar scary themes
American horror movie filmmaker Jordan Peele even offered himself to be Lucia’s godfather
“I NEVER thought it would get to this degree of popularity. I hadn’t even known that Jordan Peele saw it till one of my friends reached out to me and told me, so mind-blowing,” Andrea said in an interview with Bored Panda.
While others couldn’t help but share their fascination with this unique girl

Share on FacebookSo you've let your 3 year old watch a 15 Rated film. Well done; hope you are proud. Let your children have a 'CHILDhood', don't drag them into your twisted world, they will make their own way there eventually.
You misunderstood me I don't think it is any artist's fault i am talking more about parenting it's not hard to monitor what a 3 year old watches and honestly a 3 year old has no business watching anything like that and who knows what effect it has in the long run children are like sponges they take in everything around them they are also individuals and use what they take in in different ways I dont believe in censorship I believe in parenting
What? Who lets a three year old watch this? As a teacher I had so many parents say things like "I'm trying to give my child a chance to experience many things." Or, "I'm just trying to prepare my child for ....(fill in something ridiculous)." This translates to, "I am going to expose my children to things (you pick the garbage or trauma) that they are neither developmentally nor emotionally equipped to handle. Idiots.
Or - I don't see why my life should change and I should stop watching what I want when I want just because I have a kid......just pure selfishness really with no thought for the effect on the kid.
Load More Replies...Umm, sorry, very bad parenting all around here, nun, Chucky, Shaun of the dead? Not children's movies!!
How can a 3 year old girl be fan of a movie thats not suited for children?
Honestly, I kinda feel sorry for kids whose parents are that strict. I believe communication is the key, not restriction in itself. Kids who grow up with too much limitations, as soon as they're no longer supervised, they tend to go wild and not know how to take care of themselves.
Load More Replies...I watched horror films as a kid and I tuned out fine. I only have 3 dead bodies in my basement.
Load More Replies...My 3 year old watched Child's Play and loved it. We were very busy in the kitchen cooking dinner for guests arriving soon and we told her to put on a movie to watch. My son-in-law came in the room and said, "Uhh...are you guys letting her watch this???" We looked up and we were shocked! Tried to switch the channel and she threw a fit. She had never been a tantrum type kid. We caved and figured she would have nightmares. But nope. She has LOVED scary movies ever since. She's 11 now and very involved in Theater at school. She loves to draw, work with makeup and costumes. She loves all kinds of kid movies because she's interested in the different types of animation. She listens primarily to show tunes and plays the Hamilton soundtrack ad nauseam. She wants to either be a makeup artist, a doctor, or create animation. She's happy, healthy and her teachers think she's a very smart and talented kid. Still not a movie I would have chosen but all is well.
Why would this family let a 3 year old watch an R rated movie? She'll be in the therapist's office when she grows older, wondering why she has nightmares and is afraid of nuns. Just like my client who watched Chucky and is afraid of dolls
WTF...that's messed up. Judging by the other comments here I see I am not alone in thinking this. What kind of c**p parenting is going on out there??
I saw worse in real life as a child then any horror film. Lol Worse things out there and what people can do to you then some scary movie.
Just because you suffered things doesn't mean parents of young children should be okay with exposing them to horror films. We now have a world full of psychopaths shooting up people left right and center. The derangement starts SOMEWHERE. people need to be more careful what they expose to children to.
Load More Replies...My lil bro nad everyone else in family likes horor and ghosts too. Nothing wrong about this
Maybe early exposure to that kind of violence in movies and TV is why kids today are growing up going to school and blowing each other away
Prove it. If you can, you are better than every single psychologist that has ever been because it has never been proven that that is the case.
Load More Replies...Wauw, congratulations on posting the dumbest comment here. Comparing horror to porn. Maybe you need to get that head of yours checked out
