The Indian actress notable for being the world’s smallest living woman according to Guinness World Records. Born on 16 December 1993 in Nagpur, central India, Jyoti was of average stature until she reached the age of five, according to her mother, Ranjana. However, at that point it became evident that her growth was being hampered by some kind of disorder. It subsequently emerged that she has a form of dwarfism called achondroplasia, and will never grow beyond a certain height.
In July 2020, Entertainment Tonight’s Deidre Behar spoke with the actress via video chat from her home in India, where she opened up about overcoming a life of obstacles to ultimately achieve her professional goals. In fact, Jyoti said she has dreams of world-wide fame and someday winning an Oscar.
