30 Student Memes That Might Make You Laugh And Cry At The Same Time, As Shared By This Dedicated Online Group
People often say "Student life is golden life," and those who've already waved goodbye to their school years will most likely agree.
It's a carefree time that pushes you to experience all the exciting and, at times, bizarre things adolescence could possibly offer.
It's a period of life where you finally start searching for your true self and trying out new pursuits that could help you decide your future.
Besides, you get a free pass to make mistakes that you'll later learn from without spending too much time worrying about the responsibilities that might come afterwards.
However, although the years are packed with thrilling events, you'll get your fair share of stressing with all the deadlines and exams – but worry no more, this "Get Studying" subreddit has been made explicitly to cheer up studying folk with some handy/relatable content.

"Vaccines don't work" - guy on internet who've had zero experience in the field of virology or epidemiology but has spent 100hrs on Whatsapp and Facebook.
And years of experience with corrupt politicians experimenting with our lives.
Load More Replies...What's worse is guy who declares "BS" has 800 followers wholeheartedly agree with them.
DO YOUR RESEARCH!! i spent many hours on google and facebook and many more watching youtube videos and reading articles that have been disproved multiple times but they agree with my opinion but i'm always right so those articles are right and the government controls the internet so all i see are round earth and benefits and vaccines. (ALL OF THIS IS SARCASM)
Sounds like Jared's research on middle east negotiations. He read books though.
Load More Replies...I wish ppl would stop using the word "research" when they really mean reading...and usually by just reading anecdotal sh*te from the Internet. It's not research until you actually try it yourself in an experiment. Until then, it's just reading and potentially informing yourself. Also if ppl could actually read (all the way through) and understand research pappers, they might learn something about how science works.
You can research these things by reading, but not by reading the headlines. You have to read multiple studies and actually understand and compare data.

Sometimes you get tangled up with worries as the only thing that's on your mind is the approaching deadline for the 4000-word essay your history teacher assigned you a couple of months ago. Leaving things until the very last minute is a typical experience, whether you're a high schooler or a college student – so, in order to keep your mind fresh and free of that dreading anxiety, it's important to focus on some positive thoughts. Or memes.
"Taking the stress out of student success" – this online community dedicates itself to posting memes that are bound to be appreciated by both students and those who've decided to reminisce about the good old school days. The members of the community post advice, feedback, and random studying resources, and folks are also able to look for accountability partners that'd be willing to coach them.
"Get Studying" currently has over 402K members and was created back in 2012, and today, Bored Panda has gathered a couple of its best posts.
Mine involve me winning the publisher's clearing house sweepstakes!
All it took was cleaning up a decomposing squirrel and suddenly I'm like "CLEAN! CLEAN! EVERYTHING MUST BE CLEAN!"
Most will probably agree that studying isn't an easy thing.
Perhaps you don't have a deep connection with the topic, or you're distracted by all the tempting life events that are happening outside of school – whatever the reason might be, learning something new often feels like a chore.
At times, the problem lies in the teaching method that your educator is practicing. For instance, when you're new to this whole studying thing, it's crucial that the people responsible create an inviting and creative atmosphere that'll help pupils understand that learning is not something that is forced upon them but is something that can be fun and somewhat empowering.
My life has changed forever. On the other hand, I might just be on BP the whole day.

I do this on online language learning. I study Spanish and when it gets too difficult, I switch to French until that gets hard. Then I go back to the first and think, compared to French, that's not too bad.

I can't believe they didn't write Curiosity and Perseverance - it was *right there*!
I have a 2.8 currently (used to be 3.07) and I start my senior year of High school in August...most of the time I get sad because I worry I'm not good enough (most of the bad grades came from me being behind on some courses, not my actual work), but I think this one made me feel a bit better about that :)
Mines a bit lower (2.7 last I checked) I start 11th grade in September... I'm kinda worried tbh but also excited af... You can do this!!!
Load More Replies...I feel this to my core. Sometimes things don't go your way, sometimes you don't make the right choices. Doesn't mean you aren't good enough or smart enough.
My sister was on academic probation quite a bit in her "easy" major. I had a "harder" science major & had much better grades. I burned out before I turned 40. My sister loves her job & makes over five times my old salary. Most employers just check that you graduated & never check your GPA.
Well, that would be great, however, it isn't possible....the firmament will not allow ANY spacecraft, boat, ship, rocket, human, or ANYTHING AT ALL, get to outer space, much less land on the moon or any other "planet". By the way, those "planets" are not like earth.....they're energy, and they're incapable of being landed on even IF you could get through the firmament.....that's a BIG IF....u can't. Nobody can. Don't mean to be a Debbie downer, just putting some truth out there for y'all. I know u think ur doing it for those things, but it's all a lie.. Sorry.
I needed to see this. Ive been considering pursuing astronomy, but feel too inadequate to pursue such a career. I'm really passionate about space and the stars, but struggle with mathematical equations and my grades in science (granted, most, if not all, of the courses my high school offers revolve around chemistry) aren't...the best. I get frustrated and struggle with it but god do I want to just *try* and I say I tried. I have to try.
Unfortunately, not every professional is as committed to teaching and making things more exciting and accessible for every student. And when you catch yourself failing a subject you know you're interested in purely because of how it's being delivered to you – perhaps it's time to take the initiative into your own hands.
There're a million and one things that could help you focus on your studies without feeling bored and/or and getting distracted with random "I wish I were doing this instead" thoughts.
Finding a study partner is one of the most effective ways to help you overcome the issue, as spending time together with a person who's as equally curious will help to create a study-positive environment that will guide you to that sweet success of yours.
u forgot the "one" youtube video at some point during all this
when you in bed ready to sleep, scroll some tik tok for few minutes, and its 6AM. now time to wake up, and feel more tired
OP has discovered a fundamental law of Temporal Mechanics: Time does not flow in a strict, linear progression of cause to effect, but actually, from a nonlinear, non-subjective viewpoint, it's more like a big ball of wibbly-wobbly, timey-wimey... stuff.
So the secret to living forever is to constantly work to slow down time..... f* that

Those are the best kind of teachers and the ones who truly care about their students.
I wish I had professors like this. Mine expected we were up all night & if we weren't, we were either lazy or needed more work.
If only this happened, although sometimes the 2 am energy burst is great for it
Wow, that would have been amazing back in the day, all-nighters were the norm, and if i admitted something "late" like 2 am when due technically at midnight the night before, I'd have got a big ol zero
I remember my career prep teacher was up when I was. It was the end of the semester of my virtual year. I was burnt out and overwhelmed. I had procrastinated and had over 20 assignments to do. I stayed up doing them, they all were due at midnight. He graded each as they were uploaded, and I remember he still gave me credit for the ones submit after 12. I was grateful for that. An odd memory, but one I still have.
If only my teachers where like this one time I sent my homework in half an hour late because I was in the *literal emergency room*. My teacher was going to expell me if it wasn't for my mom and the principal argueing about it
So in this class you're rewarded for being lazy / disorganized? And the students who have their s**t together and get the work done on time are treated unfairly?
Most educational institutions still follow a more traditional system that tends to benefit extroverted folks – with group activities and class discussions, for example.
However, if you notice that things that require social interactions interfere with your confidence and hinder your overall study abilities and that you feel more comfortable learning alone, there are also a few tricks that you can try.
Make your study place comfortable. Put on some bird noises if that's what you're into, dim your lights if you're more productive at night – whatever floats your boat.
Always reward yourself, even if you think you're failing; don't burn yourself out, and remember to take breaks, whether it's a trip to your nearest Target so you can unwind and browse around or, you know, lying on the floor staring at the ceiling will also do.
well if anyone needs me I'll be writing a 20 page essay
Dimitri Mendeleev, I always remember that name from the first week of chemistry class. Hydrogen, helium, lithium, beryllium boron carbon nitrogen oxygen. That's as much as I can go.
There is a song by “ASAP science” on YouTube with all the elements in order as a song so it’s easier to memorize. Learned it and can say almost every one of the elements in order.
Load More Replies...My chem professor didn't make us memorize it. He said that with Google, we'd be able to look it up easily, and that we shouldn't waste our time memorizing something we really didn't need to. Best professor I ever had.
I still have the entire thing memorized from 8th grade. :3
For some reason after being lazy all day as soon as I lay in bed I think oh I wanna get ready and shower and clean, but it’s too late so I’ll do it tmrw. Then I never do it.
"Last night I made a thousand plans, but this morning I went my old way."
I get motivated at 9pm on a weeknight when I have to go to bed in an hour and get up early for work the next day.
Me: Im gonna get up at 4, exercise, shower at 5:30, revamp my resume at 6, job hunt 8am to noon, have a healthy lunch, start my own business at 1pm... Also me: ugh, too early. 5 more minutes....
We're all human beings with our own feelings and emotions, and frankly, it's in our nature to doubt ourselves and our abilities – no matter if we're 14 or 82.
It's essential to remember that if you believe that you're behind at something, this doesn't mean that you're "stupid," as there are thousands of folks who're struggling with the same equation or same topic as you are exactly in this very instance.
On top of that, don't ever be afraid of reaching out for help in fear of facing judgment; people that look down on their peers are not worthy of anyone's nervous system.
My personal favorite "I was supposed to start at 7 but it's 7:01....oh well, I'll start at 8".
I always enjoy my break, scolling through BP and be an unproductive mammal for just 1 hour feels good

Load More Replies...The really wonderful thing about living alone is that my extremely cluttered house is not bothering anyone. No one is inconvenienced by the piles of STUFF everywhere, taking up every flat surface. If it doesn't bother me enough to do something about it, why are some of my friends so AGITATED and disturbed by it. One friend is so bothered that he started to "fix" it for me by rearranging my kitchen while I was away. I put it all back where I want it, and told him to quit moving my stuff. Took two times to get him to realize I was serious. Otherwise he's a good friend, but he thinks he knows better than me how things should be. GAAA!
Once I tried playing music and studying. It resulted in me rapping the lyrics and dancing crazy in my room.
this is why I prefer music in obscure languages like basque, neapolitan, french, korean, catalan... Can't be having people talking when I have to think. Besides, there's pretty good stuff out there.
Load More Replies...One time I was doing homework, and I was listening to music (with lyrics) and I started writing the words of the song instead of the answer to the question. After that i only listen to instrumental music while studying.
That is why I listen to music when I clean my room. I am listening to Les Mis and procrastinating cleaning my space because I can
I remember listening to Fuel - Bad Day so much before an exam that all I remembered for the exam was the lyrics to the song.
This is where psychology comes in. Use songs in an instrumental style and keep it loud enough to hear, but quiet enough so you can block it out right away. With my brain, it helps to focus if I have something else to turn away from.
And then you get tired because of all the studilty you've accomplished so that's the program for the day

My dyslexia made my anxiety flare with this bs, so I always checked like...4 times a day.
yes and textbook remains untouched by end of "study session".
you have the textbook open so when someone walks in on you, you can quickly hide your phone or your snack wrapper so they'll think you're indeed studying.
Can we all take a moment to value the creator of Khan Academy? He doesn’t even get money for it. And he helps so many people!
That dude saved my life one summer. Sit at my feet, my children, and I shall elaborate...
Sorry, never heard of him/it. But sounds like a great guy who's helped many many people. I could've used something like that back in the day. Just had the library, friends, and teachers I had to physically go see (or phone). Would've been much easier just to pull things up anywhere online. I hope he continues helping others.
Sal Khan. You can search up Khan academy on YouTube. he also has a fun website of the same name. he has expanded his topics. I've been using it to study for the SAT

half the reason I took theater in middle school. I could do a real good "You didn't get it?!"
The students behind me taking notes on how to avoid doing the project.
I admit, I had an English assignment in HS where I needed to write an essay about an author. I was burnt out and didn't get it done. Day after assignment was due teacher asked where it was, I told him who I wrote it on (I did have a subject) and he said he remembered reading a paper with that subject, but he had already handed them back graded, so he must have misplaced mine and gave me a B. I didn't correct him, I was just hoping to hand it in late and take a deduction anyway.
Totally have done that, and I got to redo the assignment the out any late points taken off
No wonder why some people don't understand my logic, I must be bouncing between all those languages during my explanation...
Load More Replies...I wish I knew even one other language, but alas, my propensity for language is non-existent.
Read thought the entire quiz, then answer the questions that make sense, first. It sets the necessary mindset for the more difficult questions.

This is how I went from eking by my second try on college algebra in high school, then testing into calc in college.
Part of my dyslexia made copying of a board futile. At university, I mostly just listened and copied at night from class mate, not ideal as I couldn't remember bits I wanted to add. I asked a tutor if I could get a copy of his lecture notes and annotate them. He went further and got me copies for most of my classes. Later, when I became a teacher I left copies of my notes at the front for anyone who wanted to work that way. Turned out, more than half liked it everyday and almost everyone used it sometimes. Grades went up, everyone happy. I don't find kids taking pictures on their phones to simply forget about works for many though
This! I never remembered anything about the lessons where you need to write things down except getting panicy and a hand cramp. And then the notes were like: "Is that a q or k???"
Load More Replies...I never looked at those pics more than twice: once to make sure they were clear, twice to delete lol
Turns to google for more info--> ends up watching cats punching other animals on Youtube.
I acctually love essays and writing assignments on docs. Idk why but it’s jsut something abt typing and knowing what to type that I love. Wish all assignments were essays.
Leave the heading for last! You never know how badly you end up deviating from your original plan until the thing is done. That said, do a shopping list of things you want to say before starting to write. That way you won't end up forgetting little things like that the answer is 42
Comic sans helps with the writing process (I know, I've done it), just make sure to change it back before sending it in
Just remember: don't cite Wikipedia, cite the sources Wikipedia uses
I like Shark better than redbull. Helped me pass three classes this week 😅
me who did this but got straight a's for the past two years whilst procrastinating and being potato bc i studied ahead
I LOVED having school online. It's been about a year since we're back in school and I miss online classes every day.
"Living the dream" was my response to anyone asking after I was laid off from my job and unemployed for two years, broke, aimless and hopeless.
*me reading the dark purple one, remembering petfinder exists, an immediately going on there*
Seriously, all studying for tests ever taught me to do was to pass a test. once you get out into a field, you find that being able to locate information is far more important than memorizing it.
This. There is memorizing, locating, organizing, and understanding. This is why all the tests I gave to my college students were open book, open notes essay questions.

I have a lot of respect for students today. If there had been internet when I was a student, I never would have graduated.
When I went to school, there was just the right amount of internet. Enough to find useful information (thank you Alta-Vista), but not enough to be distracting.
