Life is the best comedian, and Ordinary Doodles, a comics account, is proof of this.

The artist behind the cartoons shared that his “work revolves around things you observe in your day-to-day life,” which he turns into hilarious, over-the-top doodles that also borrow from the style of anime. The beauty of Ordinary Doodles lies in its simplicity and relatability. Each comic explores frustrations we all experience and gives them a new outlook of ease and laughter.

So, if you need a daily dose of humor that hits close to home, Ordinary Doodles might become your go-to comic.

I'm ending up on the second page a lot more often than I would expect due to the amount of space sponsored results take up.

In an interview with Bored Panda, the artist behind Ordinary Doodles shared more about his background.

“I am Ordinary Doodles, and I make comics on what I observe around myself. Life is funny in its own way, and you’d be surprised by how people relate to each aspect of it if you just observe. I sketch and game as a hobby, definitely struggling through both, but it’s fun! Day-to-day life goes by in project management at a consulting firm, and what better way to decompress than doing things you enjoy.”

I actually wouldn't mind this. I'm tired of dealing with people.

The artist also shared what initially drew him to the world of cartooning.

“I’ve been into sketching since I was a kid, drawn by anime and filling up my sketchbooks with anime characters. My mom is into all sorts of sketching/painting, I think most of my inspiration comes from her. During college, I came across a comic page that drew [from] Indian culture. That got me thinking about making something [from] what I see around myself and the situations I go through. Funny how people relate to things that you believe are only happening around you…”

So true.. I hate to come home only to be given chores as soon as I step into the house

However, no art comes without struggle, as the artist wrote his biggest challenges regarding comic making: “I try to keep it simple (something I would say to completely hide the fact that I struggle with colors). You will notice that my character wears a red shirt and blue pants. It’s just to show how color combination is not my strongest area, and I can’t match my outfits in real life as well… Real pain…”

I get sent out in the rain every time for this so I never get a chance to enjoy the weather

We asked the artist to tell us about his creative process and how he comes up with ideas.

He responded: “It really is all about observation. You come across random situations throughout the day. You might remember something your friend might have said a long time ago, [so] take that, build on it, and you will eventually find something. If I stress too much [about] creating a comic, then it takes away the whole essence of enjoying the process.”

Lastly, the artist shared his hope that the audience takes away meaningful insights from the comics.

“You will definitely find something relatable that you see around in your day-to-day life. You are not alone. People around you are living through the same awkward situations. Share the fun, and let’s cry about it together.”

I do agree that wearing a mask is incredibly important, especially for people like me who are immune compromised. But during the pandemic my doctor told me not to wear a mask because I have extremely bad breathing problems and the mask made it ten times worse. So instead I just stayed inside all the time.

What Americans call pizza is so far removed from what Italians call pizza that they're two different items at this point. Who cares what other people put on it. You don't have to eat it. For starters, Italian tomato sauce does not have sugar in it and often tastes bitter because of that.

To help others, for I was confused as well: "Challan or Chalan is a common Hindi word that has become an Indian English technical word used officially in many professional, especially financial transactions. It usually means an official form or receipt of acknowledgement or other kind of proof document, piece of paperwork, police citation, etc." So I believe in this case OP is fearing a traffic citation/ticket! So the idea is that riding without wearing a helmet will get you a ticket, but if you have one with you even though you're not wearing it, the police will let you off? Doesn't quite seem to make sense

"Gutka is a type of betel nut and chewing tobacco preparation made of crushed areca nut (also called betel nut), tobacco, catechu, paraffin wax, slaked lime (calcium hydroxide) and sweet or savory flavorings. It is sold in India, Pakistan, and other Asian countries. Gutka is a powder that's chewed and spit out, and it can stain lips, teeth, and tongue with a reddish or orange color. It can also stain sidewalks and walls when people spit it out." So, I'm guessing OP is shocked to find one area of wall that is clean and hasn't been used as a spittoon.
