The other reindeer are awful to Rudolph. But Santa straight looks at baby Rudolph and says he'd never let a kid with a bright red nose on his team. Santa is neglectful but also kinda mean in that special until Rudolph has a use to him. Santa's also pretty dismissive of the elf chorus.

One of the signs in being a republican is thinking that women, immigrants, different races etc already have enough opportunities so there’s no point in trying to give them more rights. Also, look at the gop.gov and democrat.org. The republicans don’t even sell merch! They’re trying to find every chance to make you make a donation. Not all republicans are bad, and they were actually totally fine 70 years ago. But they’ve changed, and I really don’t get why people are republicans other than being entitled and wanting money and power.

Problem is , in the efforts to avoid free handouts to the moochers, many truly needy people get hurt. It's almost impossible for humans to find a real balance. If the truly needy get all the help they need, the dishonest find a way to take advantage. If laws are tightened to make it more difficult for the dishonest, the needy are often drawn into the net and experience real hardship as a result of those laws.
