Owners Share Hilarious Pic Of Their “Missing” Cat That They Couldn’t Find Anywhere
If you think you’ve started going crazy during the quarantine, just look at this cat which embodies everything we feel for 2020 so far. “Hang in there,” fellow quarantineers!
Reddit user u/Rick1771 went to r/pics to share how after noticing his cat, Biter, had disappeared, he looked out the window and saw this unusual image of a cat hanging (or doing pull-ups?) on a tree. In just 3 days, this photo has collected 115k upvotes.
In light of current events, most pets are delighted about their loving owners being at home at all times to cuddle and feed them, but this cat seems fed up with this whole social distancing thing and decided to spend some time alone in a pretty dramatic way. The incident didn’t end in a cat-astrophe, as her owner explained: “She fell (very elegantly) right after this, but don’t worry—she’s completely fine!” However, it definitely won the internet.

Rick posted a photo of his cat to show she’s fine and still rocking her 9 lives. Biter doesn’t seem too happy about being back, though

Share on FacebookWe have a cat that chased a squirrel up a tree. He went too high then couldn't get back down. I had to get my ladder out and help him. And in case you were wondering, the fire department won't help you.
Yeah it sucks they don't help. I contacted them when my car was stuck
Load More Replies...No, the fire department does nothing. A landscaper who trims trees is what I did when my cat was stranded for 4-yes,4!-days too scared, then too weak to come down.
They aren't trained to climb trees. If they try and somebody ends up hurt because of it or property is damaged they are liable . Arborists know trees, have the right safety equipment , and are less likely to get hurt attempting a rescue . .
Load More Replies...Lol this happened to my cat as well. Except the tree was higher. There was a pit bull below him but garages he could've jumped on to get his a*s back home. He learned a valuable lesson that day after being stuck for hours. Lesson was you never know what's behind the fence two houses down.
Kitters represents how most of feels right now. Barely hanging in there. Thanks for the chuckle.
I must say I'm annoyed by people complaining about the quarantine; imagine how shelter animals feel, how wild animals kept in confinement feel, how farm animals feel; they are not treated kindly, they are tortured, they die in agony. Stop complaining, you have ways to entertain yourselves or still work on line, either for your employer, or you can take actions for better world - sign petitions, write to your government and ask them to take better care of the world we live in. Grow up, people!! (go ahead, down-vote, that won't change anything for better).
Load More Replies...One of my cats went missing once it turned out he had been camping at my neighbours eating beef and chicken and getting spoilt massively... He didn't miss us- the next day he went back!!!
That's not hilarious. That's a bit tragic. All you need to do is grab an apple harvester device (little net on a long stick) and pick her like you would an apple.
Yeah like every cat owner just happens to have one tucked away next to their litter scoop:\
Load More Replies...Can you imagine what that cat was saying...(Dammit! I'm stuck!) "Meow!" (Jeez I don't know how much longer I can hold on!) "Meow!!" (Uh-oh..I think I'm slipping!!") "FOR GOD SAKE!! MEOWWW!!!"
One of our 5 cats disappeared after we refenced our back to enable the cats to roam yet not being able to escape, or so we thought. And Spike just happens to be blind. My wife covered the neighborhood with fliers. I'm disabled but I still looked all around the yards. Nothing. The next day I thought I could hear him meowing but couldn't find him. Day three. I'm out in the back with my garden and I think I hear him again. This time, tho, I looked up. He was up one of the freaking trees. I got him down. Everyone was happy he was found, safe and sound. Damn cat, lol. He was quite hungry when he was done climbing.
So you took a picture instead of running out there trying to help. Wtf
I'm going out on a limb here, but I think that kitteh went too far!
