I feel bad for the young man who didn't get a car on his 18th birthday but his brother got one. I grew up in a family that were not well off by any means & my mom & dad worked hard to support us. Your parents are definitely playing favoritism & that's not fair at all. They should always be supportive in anything you want to do with your life especially if you're a kid who's not into drugs or alcohol & your grades are good. I'm glad you said something at the party & didn't let your thoughts fester. You'll do fine in life so don't let your parents bring you into their petty BS. I'm proud of you even if your parents are not. Much success to you.😻
