It seems like quotes have flooded the internet and social media since the beginning. We love inspirational quotes. They affirm what we already know (or think we know) about ourselves and give us (temporary) hope when we feel discouraged.
The finest thoughts in the fewest words are the reason why many of us are drawn to famous quotes. As an illustrator, I always aspire to illustrate words and stories to visually interpret thoughts. These illustrations are meant to complement the famous quotes by famous people, or unknown authors. Perhaps there is no legitimate record of these quotes being said by anyone of note. I hope you can still enjoy these illustrations of mine.
