Parents Kick Out Their Daughter For Coming Out As Trans, Their DIL Gets Revenge On Them That Ends With Them Having To Sell Their House

There might be some struggles that every family has to overcome or situations where people close to each other don’t actually see eye-to-eye on things. Usually, when these cases happen, family members find a way to solve these problems, but not everyone is successful in finding the right solution. That is what happened to Reddit user @LivingBunch6371, who decided to share some family drama. The woman revealed how she found a way to teach her in-laws a lesson after their kicked out their 18-year-old daughter because she came out as transgender. This enraged her parents who then threw her out without any things, money, or documents.

More Info: Reddit

Sometimes family disputes are unavoidable but very often people do everything they can to solve them the best way possible

The user started her story by explaining how she and her husband had to take care of her 18-year-old sister-in-law after she was kicked out of her parents’ house without her things, documents and money. The parents didn’t take the news that their kid is transgender well, so they decided to cut all ties with her, not allowing her to take any of her things; they cleared out her bank account where she had her own savings and sold her car.

One Reddit user decided to share a complicated family situation that ended in her plotting a revenge plan against her in-laws

The woman shared that her sister-in-law was kicked out of the house after she came out as transgender

Other relatives, including the narrator, her husband, and her brother-in-law were shocked by the parents’ behavior. Their actions made the rest of the family stop talking to them, but the woman didn’t think that this was enough of a punishment knowing that they not only turned their back against their own kid but also tried to ruin her life in every way possible. So she came up with a plan that also involved her workplace.

After not being able to bring her in-laws to sense, the narrator came up with the idea to sabotage their business

The narrator revealed that her workplace was a client of a business operated by her father-in-law. After this incident, the woman talked with her boss about it and he suggested that if she found a new place from which they could buy their supplies, they could switch to them. The woman took some extra time to work on this task and found someone more suitable for their company. But instead of going to her boss right away, the narrator revealed that she waited until her in-laws started to remodel their home and would need all the finances to cover it.

The woman took some time to find a new business that could provide supplies to her workplace that used her in-laws’ services

When the timing was right, her company switched to a new client because they didn’t have an agreement to stick with her father-in-law’s business, so this way he couldn’t do anything about the situation. This change resulted in her father-in-law having to sell their house in order to save their business. The woman also revealed that after that, they weren’t able to buy a new house and are still upset about the whole revenge plan taking place.

The plan resulted in them having to sell their house as their business had flopped

A lot of people online were shocked by the parents’ decision to disown their daughter, so they agreed that the way the narrator handled the situation was great. Users questioned the parents and their choices, not understanding why and how they could do this to their daughter. What do you think about this situation? Don’t forget to leave your thoughts in the comments down below!

People online couldn’t believe that the parents turned their back against their daughter

So they thought that the user’s revenge plan was the right thing to do in order to teach the parents a lesson

My parents told my siblings and I that all they want for us is for us to be happy. They told us that if we were a member of the LGBTQ+ community that they would love us the same. I don't understand how these parents could not only throw their daughter out but also take everything away from her. They were essentially setting her up to fail hoping that would change how she feels. She is so blessed to have such amazing siblings and siblings in law. Children are not put on this earth for their parents to abandon them when times get tough. Children are gifts from God and it is a parents job to love them unconditionally.

Whoever these parents are, I hope someone comes along and f**ks up their lives even more. I am transgender and lesbian and have heard enough of these stories to hate people who would do this with every particle in my body. That is just evil, and those parents/in-laws deserve whatever is coming to them. EDIT: Everyone discounting Ryan Parker, Istax, and Devil's Advocate, thank you for being so supportive and defending me. The aforementioned transphobes, go f**k off.

Can't reply directly to devil's advocate, so I'll do it here. First off, Red Panda, I fully support you. I'm also trans and people like them... *sigh*. Now, Devil's Advocate, I'm speaking to you. She didn't decide anything. Your assigned gender at birth and gender identity has nothing to do with your sexuality. To put it simply- gender is who you want to have sex as, sexuality is who you want to have sex with. So, using the label of transgender woman and lesbian, we can assume (though this may not be the case), that she wants to have sex as a girl, with a girl. My labels, being a transgender guy and bisexual, mean I want to have sex as a guy with both guys and girls (and any other gender, I just use the term bisexual or queer). Hope that helps!

If the sister in law was 18 when they kicked her out, her parents committed theft by taking her savings! It was not theirs and they should be giving her that money back, plus interest! That is the worst thing I've heard in a long while of parental behavior. I am so glad she is doing well and has love in her life, and the family she needs!

The law is a bit grey on those areas, especially if she shared a bank account with her parents (it mentions a joint account in the story). Since they were equal owners of the account they had rights to the money, so it legally isn't theft even though realistically it totally is.

The really sad thing about that story is that they probably still love her in some twisted way and think they did a good thing. Many of that kind of parents believe that their child has "chosen a wrong and sinful lifestyle" and that by kicking them out they do them a favour. Motivating them to "come back to their senses" or something. It couldn't be further from the truth.

Judging from how all of their kids reacted, I'm guessing there was a whole lot of shitty behavior from the parents and this was the very large stick that broke the camel's back.

Brilliant revenge. To the Big_Bad_Boogeyman's comment above where he can't fathom how a parent can just suddenly not want/stop loving their child, the problem is that these types of parents do not, and have never, loved that child. They just 'had' the child through circumstance and kept it, but doesn't mean they ever loved it (most i've seen it's because these parents don't even know HOW to love another human being), so when they want to chuck the child away like a piece of garbage, it's incredibly easy to be so malicious.

The lesson here for anyone planning to come out to their parents and not sure how they'll take it is, wait until you're old enough to have a bank account in your own name, put any money you've saved into that, move your documents to a safe deposit box, and only tell them after you've done all that. Just in case they behave like these people did.

Taking money from joint account, the money that daughter saved working -is stealing. By law, one of the joint owners can take it, cannot be prosecuted. But, it is a sin. If they believed in higher power, how can they steal the fruit of someone else's labor? This is hypocrisy.

What annoys me about this is the ignorance, not only have all forms of alternate sexual identity always been there, but they are becoming more prevalent, in part because of the Human-related, hormone-mimicking polymer pollution in the environment and the food chain - that's just boring-old science! And in part due to the freedoms to be yourself inherent in free, democratic societies - that's just boring-old sociology! Every parent should be ready to be supportive of any LGBTQI+ change or issue in a child of theirs.

No one "chooses" to be transgender. They choose to accept what they know and act accordingly. Just like a male picks out his pants and shirt not his skirt because he feels comfortable. So sorry for people being judgmental. I have problems with pronouns when speaking with someone dressing differently than their assigned gender. Are they trans or cross dressing? No disrespect just confused.

If you're confused, the best bet is to just ask the person their pronouns. Most will greatly appreciate it! I'm a trans guy, but I choose to still wear skirts and dresses, simply because I like them! You can be a transwoman and still be a tomboy, or a transmale and still be a femboy (roseboy? I heard somewhere that some people may consider femboy offensive? idk I use it for myself). When in doubt, just ask!

Probably because, for reasons known to them, they havent felt safe doing so or didnt think they would be supported if they did. Coming out is a huge deal so you feel like the people who love/support you would no longer do that just because of who you are or who you love, most people would think twice about doing it. It can end up being a complete life overhaul & thats def something you need to be sure you are ready for. In the best case scenario, its simply because they're sick of not feeling like they can be themselves & want to finally do so...

So people believe this actually happened??? 🙄🙄 An 18yo with a joint bank account with her parents? She couldn't have asked a neighbour to use their phone to call the people to pick her up? She had to walk 8 miles? How convenient the father-in-law did business with that person's company. It does not take 6 months to find a supplier. You would not wait a month before telling your boss. This is yet another one of those fake Reddit stories that Bored Panda copies and pastes.

I don’t condone the parents behavior, but intolerance can’t be solved by more intolerance. People have the right to be wrong and trans or not, I would still love my parents enough to not want their lives to be destroyed just because they have an ugly attitude. Not only does it make things worse and not change anything, it burns any potential bridges for forgiveness and acceptance.

People like this should never be parents. Screw your outdated religious values, your children should come first.

How could anyone just stop loving their child like that? I'll never understand.

I'm certain this exact story was posted to BP under a different title just a week or two ago... I mean it's still interesting, of course. Just a bit strange to have it pop up again so quickly.

Kicking a child out is bad enough but stealing its money??? Did the police get involved?

They are horrible bstrds and they deserve every piece of bad luck they get. Could your sister in law not have them arrested for stealing her money? She saved it up. Not them. Rotten bstrds.

How sick in the head do you have to be to screw your own child over just because you can't accept their true self.

The parents were d***s. So let's be bigger d***s and hurt the parents. So what is the lesson. Hurt me and I will hurt you more. Revenge is the lesson. A life was ruined. Now more lives are ruined. Everyone feel better now?

The lesson here for anyone planning to come out to their parents and not sure how they'll take it is, wait until you're old enough to have a bank account in your own name, put any money you've saved into that, move your documents to a safe deposit box, and only tell them after you've done all that. Just in case they behave like these people did.

I actively try to keep my adult kids in my life. They have their own lives and I faintly remember what it was like to be young and starting out. They are busy and it is a time when I miss them terribly. I do not understand any parent who does not want their own offspring in their lives.

I'm confused about the family ties here, she only once mentions her husband who I assume is the brother of the one that was kicked out. But he has hardly any part in this story? The brother in law is another brother?

Totally, the most glaring part is the tone of voice. If you read it back it is written the way a young teenager speaks, not a 20-30 year old woman.

I don't think "petty" quite covers kicking out your child and then taking their money and their car though...

If you tolerate intolerance, you become its enabler. Actions have consequences. Seriously, don't tolerate s**t like this and don't push back, because "they are from a different generation", "everyone is entitled to their opinion", yadda yadda. These people went out of their way to hurt their daughter, eff them.

Here's the thing with this, by crashing a business, you probably ruined a lot of innocent people's lives. And none of that helped your sister-in-law. I get wanting revenge, but it really did more harm than good.

They didn't crash the business. They just took their business elsewhere. Did you read the article?
