Husband Illustrates Everyday Life With His Wife, Proves Love Is In The Little Things
Pascal Campion is a French-American artist based in Burbank, California who creates heartwarming and soulful illustrations about every day life.
Inspired by Katrina, his wife of 10 years, his 9-year-old daughter, and his 6-year-old twin boys, Campion’s work brilliantly captures the importance of the small things. From watching the autumn leaves fall, pausing to catch a ray of sunshine, holding hands in a crowded room or simply reading a book on a rainy night with a warm cup of coffee, his illustrations not only look beautiful; they also encourage us to stop, look around us, and think about what really matters the most. “The little moments are just as important as the big ones,” says Campion, who describes his style as “spontaneous and messy in execution but clear in communication.” Scroll down to see for yourself.

Being comforted after a long day
Waking up next to him
Giving her a kiss when she’s so perfectly relaxed
Having an impromptu pillow fight
Going on a hike with a picnic
Keeping each other dry
Whisking her off her feet
Waiting for him to come home
Having fun even when doing the most boring chores
Spending a perfect day doing nothing together
Showing each other spontaneous affection
Watching the world from above
Marveling at miracles you created together
Worrying when she’s not answering her phone
Watching the autumn leaves falling as you grow older together
Peeping through the door to see the most precious moments
Being there when he needs you
Getting unexpected hugs
Sharing random intimate moments together
Not letting the rain ruin your day
Seeing the silver lining in any situation
Being proud of those little everyday accomplishments
And goofing around with the family
Here’s the illustrator Pascal Campion with his children

Campion’s illustrations remind us to enjoy the small things, however old we might be

Agreed lol! I've been single most of my life and ONLY feel sad when I see things like this. Otherwise, I just try to enjoy life with what I can. :)
Load More Replies...Man, I have tried for years to have moments like those with my wife. She just turns her back or makes cutting remarks. If you think its tough being single and alone, try being married and alone; married to an unloving spouse who treats you with contempt most of the time, and with sarcasm the rest of the time.

Loved this!! So true and wish everyone could take just a few of these and add them into their lives? People could live so much happier if they only could appreciate all the little things in life and this man has covered them all! Such a wonderful and happy piece! :)
Pascal!! OMG I knew I recognized those drawings! Aahhhh I haven't been on StoryBird in so long!! Love and miss you man!
Wow, I just thought the first picture was cute, so I kept scrolling to see the rest... I actually felt something move inside me... I didn't realize how much I wanted this in my life until now... Haha... Geez...
True love is a gift that is opened every day . There is much joy , sharing of daily activities & the heart, laughing often , & solving problems together . My love & best friend passed recently , but, his touch is always with me. These captioned illustrations really touched me with their depth & insight !
These are so sweet! There is so much talent and feeling in these drawings!!!!
The illustrator and his wife look beautiful and healthy in their photographs. The need to slim them down and depict thinner body profiles in the illustration beats me.
Oh, so this is what a loving relationship is supposed to be like? I forgot.
This is great except for the artist including a chemtrail in one of his renderings.
i LOVE IT. Makes me happy and sad. Just choices in life, some are true, some are wishful thinking
Makes me bitter . I blame God.. I hate the men in my family, they were jerk, cheaters and abusers who made me distrust men and life.
I was awash in those wonderful feelings and moments the artist shared with his delightful illustrations.... thank you
Intimate moments..... what are those? I long for intimacy with someone..... I almost turned gay because of those thoughts and because only gay guys would hit on me instead of women. Deployments just made finding real friends harder. Guess I’ll have to be harder if I want to get anywhere in life.
undoubtedly adorable, simple, lovely and much more can't be explained in words.
I love Campion's illustrations. But, although they are lovely, these remind me of how lonely and unloved I am. I wish it was different...
Utterly enchanting. Each a carefully crafted work of art, but still bursting with something genuine. Glad I (finally) came to look.
They are very touching, particularly the last one. Also love the fact that in one illustration they're watching 'The Fifth Element' on TV: Multipass. 'Yeah, multipass, she knows it's a multipass'.
in love for these illustrations... really plenty of feels... thank you
Not gonna lie, there's a ton of this kind of family happiness pictures all over the internet. It just makes me sick. People tend to addict to happiness and family, to forget about the real world out there, it's just selfish.
Wonder where he was living when all the rainy ones were done--because that certainly ain't Burbank! XD
Wow, I wonder how did he create that artwork. It is quite unique, I cannot even see if it is digital or hand-painted.
pic # 14, anyone else get the vibe of a husband's/ father's concern about something? very nice works btw.
I love the style that all the pictures with rain in them are. All of them are so awesome!

BRIFFAULT’S LAW: The female, not the male, determines all the conditions of the animal family. Where the female can derive no benefit from association with the male, no such association takes place. — Robert Briffault, The Mothers, I, 191. In other words, If you have nothing to offer a woman which she considers a benefit, you don't have a chance. If you have offered something in the past, the question "what have you done for me lately" is usually followed by the woman "trading up" to another man who can offer even more. Robert Stephen Briffault (1876 – 11 December 1948) was trained as a surgeon, but found fame as a social anthropologist and in later life as a novelist, he wrote these words over 60 years ago and they are just as true today as they were back then, if not more so. In this day and age where women are conditioned to be princesses from an early age, the man is also conditioned not just to be the provider but also to cater for her every whim.
These princess women you speak of... Where are they? I know I'm raising my daughter to be badass and independent.

Boy he sure makes her a LOT skinnier in his art, doesn't he for being such an "inspiration?? And in her underwear a lot.
He forgot to include getting divorce-raped in court, having your children taken away and a man put in jail for missing alimony payment. Luckily more and more men don't believe in illusion of marriage and see it as it is in reality - a death trap a government and women set up for men.
if you choose woman who is bad it is your problem, not the whole world. If you can't find woman like this in your area - try diffrent places.
