She currently has 346,000 followers on her Instagram and a quick scroll through her feed explains why. As the artist is constantly improving her skills and distinctive style, we are bringing her new cartoon drawings to the table. Kiryakova has penned realistic drawing ideas of nearly everyone – from modern pop idols such as Billy Eilish, Ariana Grande and Rihanna to icons we dearly miss such as Michael Jackson, Freddie Mercury or David Bowie.
Lera Kiryakova started working with pen and ink but she has been experimenting with different types of illustration mediums since – oil, watercolor, pencils, markers, you name it… And it seems that she has mastered them all! She has recently been exploring the digital universe and coming up with beautiful drawings created with a Wacom tablet and Adobe Photoshop. She invites her audience to the behind-the-scenes of her work process by sharing thorough tutorials on her YouTube channel.

These are absolutely brilliant. The caricatures are perfectly done, easy to identify and yet have a winsome childlike quality. Use of color, especially in transparent areas (blind eyes on Arya, rainbow on Ariana, sparkles and magic on Maddie) is perfectly executed and adds a fine art feel to the pieces that you don't see with most cartoons.
Some perfect hits and many more misses. Anime eyes belong in anime cartoons.
I guess the artist thinks children with precocious puberty are the ideal beauty.
