This Doctor’s Notice Explains Why They Won’t Be Accepting Patients Who Didn’t Vaccinate Their Kids
The only human disease ever eradicated, smallpox, was eradicated using a vaccine. In the 18th century, scientist Edward Jenner decided to follow up his observation that dairy workers who had contracted a relatively mild cowpox infection were immune to the deadly smallpox virus. In 1796, he performed his first vaccination on James Phipps, his gardener’s 8-year-old son. Jenner inoculated Phipps in both arms, making Phipps develop a fever and some uneasiness, but no full-blown infection. Later, Jenner injected Phipps with variolous material, and no disease followed. The boy was later challenged with variolous material once again, and just like the first time, showed no sign of infection. Jenner successfully repeated the test on 23 other subjects, including his 11-month-old son. Now, he’s referred to as “the father of immunology”, and his work is said to have “saved more lives than the work of any other human.”
Few public health measures can compare to vaccines. Vaccinations have reduced disease, disability, and death from a variety of infectious diseases. In addition to saving lives, vaccination has resulted in economic benefits to societies, amounting to almost $69 billion in the United States alone. A recent economic analysis of 10 vaccines for 94 countries estimated that a $34 billion immunization investment resulted in savings of $586 billion in reducing costs of illness and $1.53 trillion when broader economic benefits were included. But despite the overwhelming abundance of evidence, some people choose not to vaccinate their kids.
In response, Dr. Charles Goodman and other doctors are adopting a new policy. They will no longer see children and/or their parents who don’t get them vaccinated. “Parents who choose not to give measles shots, they’re not just putting their kids at risk, but they’re also putting other kids at risk — especially kids in my waiting room,” Dr. Goodman said.
As doctors continue “firing” patients who believe debunked research linking vaccines to autism, some mothers who have been dropped feel “betrayed and upset.” Dotty Hagmier, founder of the support group Moms in Charge added that these parents made up their minds about vaccines after “careful research and diligence to understand the risks versus the benefits for their own children’s circumstances.” Some add that by dropping these people doctors might be sending them to quacks.
The American Academy of Pediatrics stated that doctors should speak of the importance of vaccinations during visits but should respect parents’ wishes unless there’s a significant risk to the child.

In response, one doctor has decided to change their policy
“Our office will no longer be seeing patients that do not vaccinate their children. We will vaccinate those who would like to begin the process, however failure to comply with this policy will result in discharge after January 1, 2019. We can provide a medical release when a new physician has been found. Due to the overwhelmingly thorough research of science based findings there is a plethora of evidence supporting the positive impact vaccines have on children. As per Dr. Azmeh’s professional advice, along with the CDC and WHO (World Health Organization), we strongly discourage any parent from withholding vaccines that will undoubtedly help their children. If you have any questions or concerns regarding this policy, please feel free to ask a staff member.”
Other health professionals are also doing this

“Although I respect each person’s free choice, I have a bigger responsibility to all of the patients for whom I care for. Because of this, the office no longer accepts NEW PATIENTS who have decided not to immunize their children.”

“Not vaccinating your kids leaves them vulnerable to disease their whole lives. When your daughter gets rubella when pregnant, how are you going to explain that you chose to leave her at risk? What will you say when she calls you and tells you she has cervical cancer, because you decided that she wouldn’t need the HPV vaccine? What do you tell your son when he breaks the news to you that he cannot have kids, thanks to the mumps that he got as a teenager? And what do you say when he gives influenza to his grandma? How do you explain that she won’t be coming home from hospital? Not ever. Do you tell them that you didn’t think these diseases were that serious? That you thought that your organic, home cooked food was enough to protect them? Do you say sorry?”
The American Academy of Pediatrics stated that doctors should remind the importance of vaccinations but should respect parents’ wishes unless the child is in huge risk

Also - Medical Insurance Providers could insist on up-to date proof of vaccinations for everyone - not just kids, otherwise cover for those conditions be restricted. Know thats extreme - and agree it should just be the law.
Perhaps that should include all flights. Airplane air isn't of the best quality as it is, and to be forced to sit in an enclosed space with mumps and other highly contagious diseases that should have been vaccinated for is dangerous.
Load More Replies...I have to vaccinate my pets and horses by law. I also was vaccinated as a child, by law, in order to be enrolled in grade school. My entire class was regularly vaccinated and checked for head lice & etc. in school by visiting nurses. My mother suffered from polio, so, she was quite emphatic that her children were immunized for any and all diseases. More parents should be concerned about the dangers of not vaccinating vs. the unproven dangers of the vaccine itself.
That's where you're wrong; it's not "unproven dangers of vaccines" it's "proven efficacy and safety of vaccines" Vaccines are not unproven. They work, they're safe, and even for those with allergies there's secondary versions as a backup. Only those with immunodeficiencies have an excuse.

Unfortunately that has only become available in recent years - wasnt around when I was a child, and apparently there is an upper age limit on when it will actually provide benefit unsure if it's 25

And also VACCINES DO NOT CAUSE AUTISM, you stupid, ignorant, blind, asshats. Andrew Wakefield was a charlatan, and was rightly struck off by the GMB for malpractice and faked all of his 'research'. Research which is massively outweighed by the long history of the documented and tested success of vaccines.
I was born in '88, east europe. Besides the vaccines as a baby, we had vaccines during the first years of school. Someone would come in the classroom and tell us kids to prepare for vaccination next hour. It was mandatory, every kid was vaccinated and parents were informed about this...by us.. when we got home. Also nurses would check us for lice and etc, even dirt under finger nails. Kids who had dirty hands were sent to wash. I vaccinate all of my pets to keep them healthy and I will do so with my future children.
We had the lice checks too...LOL. Funny how there were so many kids in our school district that got lice. We were considered a well to do neighborhood.

@Sheila - Measles can cause encephalitis, blindness, and death. The leading cause of death among children in developing countries is measles. Chicken pox can cause a debilitating condition in the nerves that is excruciatingly painful. Thankfully, there's a vaccine for shingles now. There has only been a chicken pox vaccine since 1992. ...///... Mumps isn't called the viral vasectomy for nothing. It causes infertility in men. Do you want to tell your son he can't have kids because YOU made that decision for him in all your ugly, selfish, ego-tripping. ...///...

Forget it. They've got none. All they have is blind faith - the road to stupidity.
Load More Replies...One word: GOOD. Unless there is a medical reason, (there are, in fact, some children who cannot be vaccinated - they are rare, but do exist), there is no reason. Not. To. Vaccinate. This is a public health matter, so that supersedes all other thinking - including religious beliefs.
My mother got polio the year BEFORE the polio vaccine was invented and made available. She was 13 year old, and wore a brace and crutches for the rest of her life. Anti-vaxxers endangering every child in a doctor's waiting room or exam room should be ILLEGAL. I hope those poor children are not allowed to go to "regular" school and infect everyone there. It's so sad. Parents should not have the "right" to endanger their own children and all other children they come into contact with.
Don't need vaccinations? Tell that to the children in Africa dying for lack of them.
It's strange to me that people would blame vaccines for conditions like Autism instead of the copious amounts of processed foods they ate when they were pregnant or fed to their kids from an early age. Or the toxins in the air from scented plug-ins to hairspray. Or that maybe Autism isn't "caused" by any outside source...it's just something that happens sometimes...?
Sometimes it is genetic. Autism was discovered sometime in the early 20th century and people thought it was just "bad kids" getting an excuse. Then it was found to be genetic in some families. For instance, I have Autism and my brother's son has Autism, which means my brother might be a carrier, and someone in our ancestry might have had it. My nephew was Autistic from the time he was 6 mos old, so don't tell me it's nothing but the vaccines. Still makes my heart break for him cause I know the kind of life he's heading for.

It's a pleasure for me to write this testimony about how i got my Genital Herpes cured a month ago. i have been reading so many comments of some people who were cured from various diseases by Dr .Hazim, but i never believed them. I was hurt and depressed so I was too curious and wanted to try Dr. Hazim , then i contacted him through his email when i contact him, he assured me 100% that he will heal me, i pleaded with him to help me out. My treatment was a great success, he healed me just as he promised. he sent me his medication and ask me to go for check up after 21 days of taking the medication. i agreed with him i took this medication and went for check up after 21 days of the treatment, To my greatest surprise my result came out negative after the treatment, I'm very happy that i was cured and been healthy again. I waited for 3 weeks to be very sure if I was completely healed before writing this testimony. I did another blood test one week ago and it was still Herpes negative. so
Not all vaccines are created equal. In particular, the flu vaccine. A 2013 study by the government found that older adults were just as likely to end up at the doctor as those not vaccinated. The government admits that each years vaccines attack only 3 or 4 types at most, usually only 2, of last years models. Yet the famous Mayo Clinic exposes the fact that you may have one of more than 100 different viruses. Moreover, viruses mutate at a vicious rate. Since it takes the lab rats, human type, a minimum of 8 to 10 months to create a new vaccine, none of this years myriads of mutations are affected.

A certain Poliwoggy said she (He?) would have their kids vaccinated but have so many questions. "Do I pick the kind of autism? Is the vaccine gluten-free? What even is polio?" Is this person for real or is this a spoof? If they're for real, what planet are they living on?
It wasn't "debunked research" linking vaccines to autism, it was a flat-out lie, made up by a journalist out of thin air. Stop perpetuating the myth!
Parents would rather have a dead child than a child with autism. Sounds reasonable.
I’m a firm believer of vaccines. When I was born, there was only polio and small pox vaccines. I had the red and German measles, mumps, and chicken pox. But now, why put kids through that, and the potential for death? Vaccinate, please!
There has been no mention as to what do the fathers think !!!
I'm a mom who believed in immunizations, and held my infant as he had his vaccination, then shortly after seized, stopped breathing, foamed at the mouth, turned purple, had CPR and spent days in a children's hospital, and now struggles with a lifelong neurological disorder, because of his vaccinations. I've been dismissed from two practices because I refuse to give those vaccines to him again. Even with clear medical evidence supporting the fact that it could kill him, I am condescended to, patronized, and treated like a crazy person because I decline vaccines. I'm not a conspiracy theorist or anti modern medicine kook. I just want a medical doctor that will care for my children well, listen to me as a parent, and respect us as people not a one size fits all patient. Where does "first do no harm" come in? Where does a mother's right to protect her child come in? Why am I crazy or a bad parent for wanting what is best for my child's health???
You mean a neurological disorder that he ALREADY HAD, before the vaccination? ..///... Correlation does not mean causation. Your story is the same as saying that 95 % of spouses are women therefore 95 % of men beat their wives. ...///... You'd rather your son die because you CHOSE not to protect him.

That's the scary stuff about this, if you would walk into a f*****g biohazard you will survive, kids and elderly will have a problem. Vaccinated or not. Normally I say Darwin, but me and my gf want kids and I hope we will pull through this ignorance.
I think it's great and neccessary that the doctors take the stand. If the world believes in something that was already scientificaly proven to be bollocks, and if they are endangering their kids and other people by that belief, there need to be consequences for them so that it makes them change their mind. Also it spreads awareness. Plenty might not know it's bollocks.
Edward Jenner Did not fill his vaccines with mercury and aluminum. Modern medicine is good. Big Pharma is not.
Vaccinations have reduced disease, disability, and death in staggering numbers, not to forget rising the bank account of the big pharmacy mafia and the doctor who convinced people to vaccinate their kids for big bonus . Happy to live in europe where we have the choice to do or not.
What I can't figure out is why everyone has a problem with those that choose not to vaccinate. I mean I get it, you want your kids to be safe. But they are if they are vaccinated, right? Then this
You're right. There is no "argument". There is no "debate". Not vaccinating is child abuse. If your child dies because you CHOSE not to protect them, then you are guilty of murder. Everything else is b******t.
Load More Replies...Informed consent is the real issue. If the average person received there information from there doctor about vaccines and thinks that is the same thing as being informed they should think again. Most people should know that the US. Has pay for profit health care system and everything is based on making a profit and vaccines is no different. The marketing of vaccines is a very lucrative business because there is no liability and of reduced drug trials. Anyone can save themselves a lot of trouble by simply asking your doctor to see the vaccine insert before you vaccinate instead of after they vaccinate you. Beware the price you may pay for this request is a verbal demand to leave his office and to never come back.
You really really think that the vaccine insert will make a difference. There are plenty of medications that cause side effects. Vaccines and autism is not one of them. And if you are going to play the "it's just big pharma trying to make a profit" scam..stop. Many of those vaccines go to countries where patients aren't charged a dime. And many of the vaccines are also offered for free in clinics throughout the USA. Anyone with half a brain can figure out how to circumvent paying for the vaccine. But then again..if you had half a brain..you wouldn't think that vaccines cause autism or that it's just big pharma's way of making a profit.

Load More Replies...In 1986 there was a law signed by Regan preventing drs and vaccine manufacturers from being sued for deaths or injuries from vaccines. They created vaccine court for that, which pays out Billions a year for vaccine injuries and deaths. If you would be interested in educating yourselves on it. I will include a link. Drs also get paid by manufacturers for the vaccines they give, so what dr is going to pass up money. You are all just money to them. Vaccines guarantee that you will be sick and need meds etc. https://www.hrsa.gov/vaccine-compensation/about
It's a pleasure for me to write this testimony about how i got my Genital Herpes cured a month ago. i have been reading so many comments of some people who were cured from various diseases by Dr .Hazim, but i never believed them.

Load More Replies...Well, even if you vaccinate your kid a unvaxxed kid can really make him/het sick.

I healed several bad unbalances like cancers, egzema, papilloma virus....Doctors shouldnt speak before finding out why a virus is there neither HOW it can be cured. Finally we won't need them any more, ans it will save us alot of money: it a good thing!
There is no cure for HPV. This is commercial spam. Report it, people.

My Aunt abstained from sex until she was married, never had another relationship after she divorced and her husband never cheated on her..yet she still got cervical cancer. Saying that you can prevent cervical cancer by having safe sex is about as effective as saying if you don't want to be pregnant, use a condom. Plenty of babies still produced from broken condom syndrome....
Load More Replies...All that is true. On the other hand they are endangering other patients who couldn't get vaccinated (because they are too young or for health reasons) for whom the doctors and other medical professionals also have a responsibility. And the same goes for kindergartens and schools. I imagine it wasn't an easy decision to make (since they can't force anyone to vaccinate). I imagine they did try to convince them but didn't succeed. I'm really sorry for the kids.
Load More Replies...Almost every single 'scientifically proven fact against vaccines' have been debunked one way or another. I assure you, once your children are vaccinated, they will be safer than any other article says they wouldn't be.
Load More Replies...Their parents are choosing to destroy their own kids' futures. Period. This is not a "discussion" and it's not a "debate". Did you even read the article? Do YOU want to have to tell your daughter that she's going to die of cancer because you CHOSE not to protect her?
Load More Replies...Co-incidence - Bound be many kids with Autism living next to anti-vaxxers. Plus if one child has it - much higher risk of a sibling having it also. Iwould think it difficult for a kid who has little contact with their peers will be totally well ajusted
Load More Replies...It is very safe and even if it isn't, it sounds a hell of a lot safer than cancer.
Load More Replies...No, what vaccines do is they give the person such a minor dose of the disease that won't negatively affect them at all, so that the body can learn how to fight it. For example, you've never had to fight off a lion, I assume. So if a full grown male lion were to attack you now, you wouldn't stand a chance. But if you grew up around lion cubs, you wouldn't be in danger, and you'd learn how lions behave and could defend yourself. from them.
