Do You Think Parents Breast Feeding In Public Should Cover Themselves?
I work in a restaurant and yesterday one of my coworkers was complaining about a parent breast feeding in public without covering themselves with something. Personally, I don't care. It's a boob, so what? Besides it was so hot and humid I wouldn't want to drape myself with a shawl either. Anyway, do you think when breast feeding in public the parent should cover themselves?

NO. If it bothers you turn away. Baby has the right to eat without having its face cowered every time. Its just a boob! get over it people! If you are bothered by a baby feeding from a boob that seas more about you than it does the baby, the mom or the boob.
I have no problem with people breastfeeding in public without covering up. I don't get why society demands that female nipples be covered at all times while men can walk around shirtless
I think it really depends on the person and the environment. I think there are times when it's politer to cover up, but that is really up to the mom.
No. I was pressured and often obligated to cover myself and my baby on the hottest days to nurse, a part of me just preferred the little bit of privacy but I felt gross feeding her in a bathroom, and those nursing rooms at the mall were always dark and isolating.
Sometimes I would just cover part of her head so she wouldn't over heat. I felt bad she would be sweating and seemed very thirsty, which caused her to eat more than she needed.
People need to think harder what they're really demanding of mothers. Seriously. The health of the baby and mother should come first above someone's damn opinion.
In fact, this debate is so old I don't know why it keeps coming up. It's just to divide people and make others talk about what a woman does with her body, and shame her for the natural functions.
I used to use a very light muslin cloth. Yes we should be able to breast feed without covering up but there’s always someone staring. I just don’t handle conflict well so that was my compromise. It’s just like yes a woman should be able to wear what makes her feel good but there’s always some a**hole that’s going to hit on or insult her.
