Florida may have Disneyland but the Hermansons have the coolest Disney house. Yes, that’s right, the family is so into Disney world, they have dedicated their entire house to it.
And they’re enjoying every step of the home makeover process. Kelsey Hermansons said she buys some of her Disney room decors, but usually creates her own designs for their home.
“I find a lot of things for my design ideas at thrift stores,” she told BuzzFeed. “I also buy some things from The Disney Store, but, mostly, I make things myself. Sometimes I buy things from other artists on ETSY if I can’t make it myself.”

Kelsey’s husband Eric helps building their dream home whenever he can, too. “Eric has done everything from helping me retile our Ariel bathroom to installing Disney theme light fixtures,” the woman said.

Out of all the rooms in the house, Kelsey likes the Cinderella master bedroom the best

“It’s the most recent space I have decorated and it is one of the most magical rooms in our home. I found antique furniture and painted it all to look straight out of Cinderella.”
She also added a bubble wall, making the interior design absolutely dreamy.

“I really decorated our house for us to enjoy and it has been such an amazing experience to share it with so many people”

Another bathroom is dedicated to Aladdin and even has a magic lamp faucet

The entry room has a Rapunzel theme

“My favorite piece that I have made would have to be my Rapunzel lanterns floor lamp. I found an inexpensive floor lamp at Costco and I hand-painted the lanterns myself with fabric ink”

The living room is a homage to Lilo and Stitch

Although each room sticks to a particular Disney theme, Kelsey switches things up during the holidays.
“Our living room gets a Coco makeover at Halloween and other rooms get a Nightmare Before Christmas theme. We do an ‘Under the Sea’ makeover and decorate the front yard of our beautiful house in a Frozen theme at Christmas.”

“I enjoy bringing a little bit of magic to my followers every day”

I didn't realise that people's tastes could vary SOOOOO much! i.e. it's about a billion miles away from what I would want.
Not my cup of tea. Too gaudy. To each their own. Perhaps Disney should send them a cheque for promoting the brand?
I bet you ten bucks that one of those kids, upon adolescence, will turn into the darkest goth metal fan in history.
Definitely not my cup of tea (a wee bit over the top), but I can admire the creativity that went into her decorations and planning out each room. And to all of the trolls who will eventually come and call this woman and her husband all sorts of names for enjoying Disney as adults- get the bloody freaking hell over it; people are entitled to enjoy and love different things.
It's obviously her prerogative to decorate her home as she wishes, but I personally think it looks bloody awful.
Just imagining cleaning all of this all the time makes my stomach turn.
I don't understand any obsession with Disney. I like some of the movies, sure, but I can't understand what makes people need to show so much appreciation for them. I live near Disneyland and the amount of friends I have who *need* to get year passes and go multiple times per month is just weird to me
If I go there once in my life- I would absolutely love that :)
Load More Replies...I wonder if it was expensive- lots of work put into it! Might make a good airbnb
I wouldn't decorate my house like this, but to each their own. It is kind of cool, but also kind of guady and over the top.
Wow this is the best thing I've ever seen. I love everything! Amazing job. I'd love to do the beauty and the beast theme for my daughter's room so this gives me great ideas. Thank you!
Ok - but what about that poor cat? What if he/she doesn't like this theme? :-D
The same people bashing this love Star Wars, Star Trek, Marvel and DC movies and have a million action figures.
I think it is tacky and obsessive... but some how I think sad and desperate goes too far... I think it makes them very happy
Load More Replies...I think it's funny that when her daughter's turn into teenagers, they are most likely going to want to change their room. Can see that mother daughter fight happening...
Load More Replies...Did you SEE the Phantom Menace??? Ruined before Disney ever touched it.
